Hamilton manager claims Garner deliberately tried to hurt Imrie

Recommended Posts

Let's be honest here Mhartin. If Garner wanted to injure him he would have.

It was a genuine attempt for the ball and he fucked it cause it bobbled just as he was about to boot it out the park.

I'd be more embarrassed at Imrie's reaction to a boot on the arse like he'd just been shot.

Fukkin Scottish mhedias a joke, remember last year when the livi player nearly snapped Oduwa's leg in half, it was just a "typical strong Scottish challenge"....don't remember the outpouring off faux outrage then!!??

Whilst I think it should have been a red card I have no doubts at all that Garner did not mean to harm the player he went in recklessly yes but his intent was clearly to thump the ball into row z  it was a crazy stupid attempt and on another day could have cost us   This is why this player is a total liability and should be one of the first out the door in the summer we will never catch that mob with this type of pub league player!

If he connected then it would've probably been a red, but he didn't so the yellow was appropriate.

Sour grapes from a no-mark manager of a no-mark club.

Totally agree. It was a very harsh yellow card.

Garner gets battered from pillar to post every fuckin week yet a foul and a card every time he farts near a player, the big boy he clashed heads with clattered him off the ball with a forearm to the back of the neck as soon as the second half started, foul given yet no card despite it being off the ball and deliberate. Just seen as him "letting him know he was there". Exact same at hampden last game, simunovic done the exact same thing first challange, not a word.
