Pedro has spent time working in both Qatar and KSA  where many of the better quality players are from West African countries.  If he has gotten to know young players and contacts from these African countries can we anticipate him looking at that market? Should be better than the lower leagues in England.

English Division 1 is the place to shop mate. They are all worth milions and just waiting to be discovered. Really handy if your daughter works for their agency and if its not their agent you can get them to change.:craphead:

Incoming Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha ready to raid Al-Gharafa for Rashid Sumaila – his godson

The Portuguese has described the Ghana star as his "trusted centre-back".

Pedro Caixinha is ready to raid his former club for a defender who is also his godson.

The incoming Rangers boss has described Ghana star Rashid Sumaila as his "trusted centre-back".

According to Qatari media, Caixinha is planning to take the 24-year-old from his former club Al-Ghafara.

Sumaila has won six caps for his country and in season 2010-11 was voted Ghana’s best defender. He also has a gold medal from the All-Africa Games during the same campaign.

Caixinha has been the godfather of the centre-half since he joined Al-Gharafa on loan from Al-Qadsia last year.

Sumaila is said to have been a key player in lifting the Qatari side from bottom of the Stars League to fifth place.

The Ghanian, who is out of contract at Al-Qadsia at the end of June, was voted as Al-Gharafa’s best player after the first round of the league.

Caixinha is now expected in Glasgow on Saturday after paperwork meant he missed his flight this morning.

Has he got a sore heid?
