Hopefully the 3 board members, who resigned, are in attendance to listen to what shite they come out with and defend themselves if need be.

If not, then accurate details minutes of the meeting should be taken and made available to members.

Dream on, the only ones with integrity left. The rest will be as they always have been, 1872 is dead as a rep group.

Aye, it's more wishful thinking rather than real expectation.

They can go fuck themselves.

Club 1872 will hold a meeting for members on Thursday 6th April at 6.30pm in the Ibrox Suite at Ibrox Stadium.
The meeting is in response to requests from our members to hold such an event. All four of the current Directors will be in attendance
The meeting is for members only and will be limited by the capacity of the room
To enable us to plan the event properly and ensure only members ( as at the date of this e- mail ) are admitted please notify us if you wish to attend before 4.30pm on 4th April

Could they have made it more awkward if they'd tried. The only ones able to attend will be those who live locally.

Should be on the morning of a match day when people will be travelling from afar.

Apart from the limitations on how many can attend, the timing of 18:30 means that many folk wishing to attend will have to travel at peak times on the M8. Traffic will be heavy and it would only take one minor accident and there would be no chance of making it on time.  This has either not been planned well, or maybe it has !

Even more cunning perhaps. Whats the capacity of the Ibrox Suite?

With the way that's worded, I'm wondering if this is a formal meeting or whether it's a official meeting where minutes are taken and rules apply?

All spaces will likely have been filled with yes-men before the deadline of 4th April even comes round.....

List compiled before the notice went out? Although they'd only need 151 in a room of 300 to pass any resolutions. They wouldn't be that obvious would they?

I think it's more about updating folk re what's went on and plans to move forward.

Am sure a hostile crowd wouldn't be helpful and as such won't be present.

If that scenario happened, would it be classed as vote rigging?

What votes are being made?

How can a small proportion of members present vote representatively of the wider membership?

It's an information meeting, one where the 4 at the top table will no doubt besmirch those who quit, and attempt to smooth things over so funds roll in. To that end a tough audience is the last thing they want/need/will have.

There's no suggestion of vote rigging.

I was asking a question in reference to RFC Eagle post.  I agree with what you say as to pass a resolution there would have to be a vote. If they cherry picked members then how could it be a fair vote and represent the wider membership.
