The former Arsenal stopper has had a miserable season in Glasgow and has made just four Rangers starts, including a car crash debut against Celtic where he was sent off in an eventual 5-1 defeat. He has been ignored entirely by new bossPedro Caixinha and looks certain to be off at the end of the season. And the 32-year-old could have a new role to play in his native Switzerland. Rangers defender Philippe Senderos has barely featured at Ibrox Senderos hasn't featured under Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha The most successful side in the country - 27-times champions Grasshoppers - are currently second bottom in the Swiss Super League and in real danger of being relegated. They want to hire a new sporting director and Senderos is on the shortlist. He will be up against former Hamburg boss Peter Knabel and former Grasshoppers legend Mats Gren, who made almost 500 appearances for the club and is currently sporting director at IFK Gothenburg.
