Team for Saturday

Recommended Posts

How can we improve on today then; Personnel? Tactics?

Both more than likely.

Anyone know if Hill, Wallace, Forrester could be fit to play?

After today Pedro can have no issues with making big changes to the team.

What is clear is Halliday and Waghorn to mention a couple can't start.

Has to be 4-2-3-1. 4-3-3 with 3 centre forwards did not work at all, and most of their better play came at us from out wide.

I like Waghorn, but he's had a shocker this week and needs dropped. Halliday is just woeful, and completely hamstrung us with that stupid tackle.

              Fod

Tav Bates Wilson Beerman

          Toral Holt

Windass Hyndman Dodoo

              Miller

4-4-1-1

Alnwick in goal (Fod had a shocker today and didn't look match fit)

Back four of hodson, hill, Wilson and wallace

midfield of toral, hyndman, Windaus and MOH

Dodoo drifting in the number 10 role, giving him the freedom to come wide

miller up top, to play up top!

Wallace is still out.

And Tav was our best player today.

I will have to see the first goal again but didn't think Fod had a shocker at all.

Think he was completely out of position for the 1st, it didn't even go in the corner and he was miles away from it.

The second he should have came to clear the ball, made Tav make a decision when he could have got to the ball comfortably

Can't believe fans want Hyndman, he has been pish for weeks.

Don't necessarily think it's wanting Hyndman more not wanting Halliday again fs

Would like to see Dodoo start every game till the seasons end but expecting Mckay-Miller-Waghorn next week

wouldn't be surprised if we won next week and then the players are rolled out to tell us that was for us etc and proves we can compete with them.

Sorry but this squad isn't good enough and nothing will change ma mind on that.

last home game is Aberdeen I know a walk round the park is the usual on the final game but I'd cancel ours fuck all to applaud

Team picks itself really, Hill for Bates if Clint is fit.

This

Hyndman has been poor but he's being pushed back the way to accommodate Miller. Move Miller to replace those two utter pieces of dross that we continue to play up front (in fact just get them to fuck away from the club).

I though McKay did well when he came on but Windass deserves a chance to start - though he's often as ineffective as McKay

I know we didn't concede from one today but we need to sort out our defending of corners or it will cost us in the future.

In the first half they had several free headers from corner with no Rangers players attacking the ball. I'm sure they'll have noted that and look to exploit it next week.
