So badly that he wasn't able to inspire the players around him. Barry is playing tremendously well at the moment but he is not inspiring anything in those around him, as current results show. That may say more about them than him, however a manager has every right to replace a supervisor (captain or whatever) if, in his opinion, that person is demotivating the team. You may not agree with PLG because he doesn't want those delicate little flowers that presently make up our first 11 being shouted at by big bad Barry, but he is the manager. I would hope that he has all the facts at hand and that he is looking at a bigger picture than you and I. Time will tell, hopefully sooner rather than later.
