Exactly. Sort it out man to man.  But I guess PLG is no man.

B y all accounts PLG did attempt to sort it out man to man

the outcome was Bf or his brother outing it to the press

By all accounts?

Name them.

Again, you're posting yet more unsubstantiated twaddle.

So how did the press get it? If they made it up I must have missed Barry's statement denouncing it.

Even so (if what you say is true), it's results on the pitch that ultimately count and to get rid of our best player and insult the Captaincy of Rangers is unacceptable to me.

PLG didn't even wear a tie to the post match conferrence after the Inverness game. Doesn't respect us or our club. Clueless.

The report today was clear, Ferguson was called in to discuss the situation.

Chick Young got the story

Derek Ferguson continues to make money out of stabbing Rangers in the back

How does this differ from big Amo's ignominious removal from the captaincy in 2000?

After a bad run of results the manager changes the captain...

It seems to me that that is as much information as we have at the moment...

But he has been leading with great play...as a captain should...what else can he do?

Amo was playing TERRIBLY. So badly that he wasn't able to inspire the players around him.

He's playing a million times better. He doesn't cost goals. He works like a dog.

If the other players are refusing to play, is that Barry's fault.

Whereas they saw Amo cost goals and make mistakes; completely different.

Barry is playing tremendously well at the moment but he is not inspiring anything in those around him, as current results show. That may say more about them than him, however a manager has every right to replace a supervisor (captain or whatever) if, in his opinion, that person is demotivating the team.

You may not agree with PLG because he doesn't want those delicate little flowers that presently make up our first 11 being shouted at by big bad Barry, but he is the manager.

I would hope that he has all the facts at hand and that he is looking at a bigger picture than you and I. Time will tell, hopefully sooner rather than later.
