cooper1989 0
SAF clearly won the day over Beckham. I'm not really drawing comparisons between that situation and Barry -- since we don't know all the facts -- but there is one thing that is different.SAF is a great manager, that'd one trophies for years with Man U. PLG has been nothing but shite for us. Even though Beckham was worth zillions in merchandising etc SAF was/is 'Man U'.Think I'll stop writing now.. I just realized I'm using PLG and SAF in the same 'sentence'. I've clearly lost it.

disgruntled_bear 157
Alex was 1 game away from the sack on more than one occasion as he tried to mould his team and bring through the youngsters.I'm not comparign the two Managers, but try and look at the bigger picture and stop blaming Plg for everything. cooper1989 0
I'm not blaming PLG for everything. Just this:Poor results,Terrible signings,Disrespect to the Scottish game,Disrespect to our Captain,Disrespect to our club -- doesn't even wear a tie in an interview,Comes out with ridiculous statements such as after the St. Mirren game 'I liked our committment and team spirit..' eh?Still believes in Sebo.Thinks Boydie is shite cause all he does is scoreFair or not poor results end up with the manager getting the sack. He has now (at least) blamed himself. He looks totally out of it on the sidelines -- clueless. Where's the results, where's the improvement? Nowhere. And... he's had plenty of time. His time is now up. And frankly I believe his time is up even without the Barry episode. I would have given him this year -- but since we won't get any quality in January and all the Austria Vienna players are gone -- this year is all he gets anyway -- nothing to do with Barry.Other than all this, I guess he's ok. Agreed he's made some mistakes (PLG) but you have to give him more time than this. I'll still think he'll turn things around. We have to give him time and by dropping the Captain as I've said before is passing on a message that no one has the right to put a Rangers jersey because of what they have done in the past but what are you doing for us now!
