I saw him training and running about last week. He was doing the same as others like MOH, Hardie and McKay

Cool, I thought his injury was more serious. Don't really think he's in the plans though

Not that surprised over Waghorn's inclusion despite him being the fan's resident scapegoat at the present time.  Manager has regularly picked him in his team so must rate him to some extent, clearly more than the ones that are not included in squad.

For opposite reason, slightly surprised (although not disappointed) that McKay is in squad.

Agreed seems like a gamble to assume Morelos & Herrera hit the ground running

I fear that is what Pedro, and some fans, are thinking. Huge gamble. Both of them. If we could replace McKay and Waghorn with 2 of the required quality i would feel far more comfortable.

No Halliday or MOH pleases me Waghorn being there gives me the fear tho

RANGERS die-hard Andy Halliday has been shunted towards the Ibrox exit door after being told he can go out on loan.

SunSport can reveal midfielder Halliday, left, is the latest player to be informed by new manager Pedro Caixinha that he is surplus to requirements at the club.

The lifelong Gers fan has been desperate to impress Caixinha in pre-season training and convince him that he can still command a place in his line-up.

But the Portuguese boss has now decided that former Livingston and Bradford City ace Halliday will no longer be part of his plans and he would be better moving on.

Several clubs abroad have already been alerted to the former Middlesbrough star’s situation and are interested in snapping him up.

But it is the latest hardline decision made by Caixinha, who is desperate to move out players he doesn’t want.

Defender Rob Kiernan and wide men Harry Forrester and Michael O’Halloran have all been ordered in for early- morning training regimes with their Rangers careers virtually over.

Winger Barrie McKay’s future at the club is also uncertain as he continues to stall over new contract talks.

Since returning from the summer break Halliday has been fully involved with Caixinha’s first-team squad.

But the club’s Under-20s report back today meaning he is likely to be told to train with them until he manages to find a new club.

Surprised no Dodoo, especially with some of the names that are there. Even slightly surprised MOH isn't there as Candeias is ineligible.

there is no way moh would be picked he is a waste of a jersey and pedro sussed that out very quickly

I wonder if him being told he can go out on loan means that Pedro is giving him a chance to improve or if it just means we know the level of club he'll attract couldn't afford his wages so we'll still be paying some of them.

Nothing really surprising about that list. Waghorn will be kept for the mean time for his versatility, even though he's pish in every position. Just hope that he is 3rd or 4th in line for a place in the starting line up and he's been putting in the hours at auchenhowie in front of a set of goals.

He has but it was the set we borrowed from Norwich City and apparently they keep moving them.
