I wonder if we were to add that legal caveat derived from the literal Latin translation meaning .... "Let a person be aware" ...  in the line of the song to .... "Up to our knees in "alleged" fenian blood" ... it would perhaps be acceptable to our other "fans" from across the city ..... them being fully au fait with the legal system in Scotland and all ... which they all used to help us see the error of our ways post the admin event ..... right? ....:p:

Surely this would appeal to their sense of justice ... and help to thaw out any strained relations that have caused this divide ... the use of the word "alleged" surely puts to rest any ambiguity .... as it does after all pre-warn anyone of a sensitive nature .... and further suggests that perhaps it was debatable that fenian blood was spilt at all ....  due to the fact there weren't many actual fenians around at the time .... but mostly just taigs .... and the use of the passive fenian word was only used because it just fitted in nicely ..... and was used so as not to offend too many taigs kicking about at the time ..... mmm?

We could of course just change fenian blood to tarrier blood and be done with it, not offending anyone .... if some of our other "fans" were somehow to be offended with having the word "alleged" implanted in our resounding War Cry.

The use of "Surrender or you'll die" .... could also be changed as a show of good will to .... "Surrender or you are liable to be detained and charged with being offended at a football match and given community work while still collecting your dole money" .... or .... SOYALTBDACWBOAAFMAGCWWSCYDM ... for short ... and for the thick ..... :p:

Although the word "work" ... could be classed as offensive in their world ... it was not intentional in the context of this post ... apologies in advance if it's use still offends and counselling will be arranged for the over sensitive.

This "bonafide"...... they just love a wee bit of Latin so they do .... proposal should send shock waves of encouragement through the "them" community .. and with the help of St. Brendan of the Lady Boys .... must surely see the unification of not only Glasgow and it's environs ..... but the entire planet ... leading up to World peace for all ... on the glorious 12th day of July.

Thereby making future marching seasons a true pageant for all free men and women ... with both sides of the divide singing in jubilant unison ... this revised resounding rendition of the Billy Boys ... finally accepting it for what it is .. a song of triumph over the forces of evil and division .... the World's first real song of unity and strength .... :crabflute:

FARE can get bent, as can UEFA for ignoring their own match delegates in favour of the reports from anonymous FARE observers. Hopefully if they try to hammer us because of that mob again our board appeal to CAS, as it's ludicrous that an organisation that has Celtic fans in senior positions can have their anonymous complaints about Rangers taken so seriously.

Especially when they were silent during the last five or six seasons when Celtic fans were noticeably engaging in IRA sing songs, and getting fined by UEFA.
