Malkytfp1 18,579
Short term if he's fit i'd consider wee Rossiter as captain. Has captained at u21 national level and last.night he looked the only one to try and gee up the players and show some fight. Also after hearing him speak and press conferences he carries himself well and seems to understand what its lile to be a bear.

Hilly86 701
What's Alves done in the game to merit the captaincy already? Wouldn't seem right to see him telling all those battle-hardened gladiators in the squad what to do...
kanjo 26,327
I'd give it to Kenny, personal opinion of course.
Bears 792
If Wallace stays captain, it should be clearly pointed out to him that he should have done the tv interview after such a disaster as last night, not leaving it to a 20 year old who's played a handful of games for us. Not just that but where was the motivating st 1-0 from him or even the berating of the squad? He's a mouse on the field, just hides away hoping it will all get better and shouldn't be near the armband. Hope to fuck Warburton comes in for him, just wish we could get Charlie Taylor from Leeds. Prso's headband 35,347
Ryan Jack for me as well. At least he has a bit of fking passion about him. There were points in both games where I thought you're getting injured here cause it looked 70/30 in the other guys favour, but he went in 100% into the tackle and won the ball. He also wasn't afraid to give Bates a piece of his mind when he fucked up in the second half at Ibrox, even though he's only been here a month. Drives us on as well, but a bit hard to do when you've got that fat prick Windass not looking for the ball or Dalcio running it out of play
siddiqi_drinker 14,635
Don't know if Alves is the answer, but Wallace is not a captain. FFS Rossiter was trying to get the players going more than Wallace
