Regan has today stated that there will be no further action, as we had not broken any SFA rule and he also so cited the outcome of the LNS review as part of his reasoning that was at the behest of the then SPL. Liewell had to call for a review to appease his own fans. This has all been rehearsed between the two of them in advance of the verdict. Regan wouldn't dare act unilaterally without the sanction of Liewell.

However, this will not stop the scum fans call for title stripping and whilst there is no direct financial ramifications from the verdict, it will cause extensive reputational damage.

They cant make up the rules as they please. At the end of the winding up of oldco tax WILL be paid to HMRC from the oldco creditors pot. So the tax bill will be settled one way or another. It might not be the full estimate amount but I'd be surprised if anyone pays the full amount estimated in other cases usually.

If any titles are stripped I'm done with football.

What's the point in supporting a team unconditionally through the highs and lows for the governing body in the country to turn round 6 years later and say, "we've changed the rules, and as such are taking away the titles you won."

Absolutely ridiculous situation.

Wankers on social media referencing Juventus and Lance Armstrong.,Juventus were done for bribing match officials and doping Armstrong for doping, since when did not paying taxes have any bearing on a sporting result?

There is no connection between the two.  Cheating on the park and not paying taxes off it is the difference and is why nothing can be "stripped"

Remember reading on here a few years ago that in the late 50's there was a vote to kick out paedo fc from the league our deciding vote kept them in how the people from our club must be turning in their graves that they now voted yes to the scumbags.

What our board should say -

To all you smelly, bead rattling, know no shame bastard's who want our titles, GO FUCK YOURSELVES.

What our board probably will say -

In the interest of sporting integrity and bridges being built, we will happily relinquish all titles won during the ebt period. As an added gesture, we're giving Celtic the full Broomloan and Govan stands for the next five years games at Ibrox.

Sorry if we upset you Peter.

What's the big deal? They can't rant and moan etc etc but titles are not being stripped - full stop.

Theyve never accepted defeat in their pitiful existence. It's always some conspiracy or other eg refs, masons, establishment, SFA and so on

i just laughed today when the dhims started their shit at work.

Maybe if we had got a highly onerous co-op loan at a fuck off interest rate then we might not have used ebt's

either way, I couldn't give a shit.

Predictably the cretinous organisation across the city have wasted no time in commenting on the outcome of the tax case. Like a bad smell that refuses to go away they have been waiting on this with their twisted version of justice contained within an obviously ready made statement.

No one from a Rangers persuasion needs reminding of the sentence handed down from the footballing authorities which seen the most punitive sanctions ever imposed on a British football club. The effects of which are still being felt to this day as we continue to struggle back to our feet.

If you as a fan were to dream up a more damaging and humiliating fate to befall your rivals you would do well to eclipse what this club has been through. We have been kicked from piller to post and suffered way beyond what any fair minded person would consider fair and just punishment..........and yet....

Rather than keep opinions in house these true enemies of Rangers clearly believe they can continue to sully our name and further tarnish our reputation without reprisal by calling for the whole title striping nonsense to be reopened.

My own feelings are simple. If the custodians of our club are prepared to tolerate any more of this by being apathetic then we as a fan base need to take appropriate action. Our club once again find ourselves under attack from a deviant and persistent enemy. An enemy that needs stopping and by any means necessary.

Celtic football club have declared war on us once too often in my opinion by opting to keep this going without any regard to the implications. They have shown their hand early and that now leaves us with a choice to make. We can back into a corner like a frightened puppy by waiting and hoping it goes away or we can finally man up and declare enough is enough and take the fight to them for once and for all.

The bastards at our club will probably take everything up the arse

Can't remember which club it was now that brought a vote  because they refused to take down the tri colour. Flying it was against the rules as it was a foreign flag so they had a vote whether to kick them out the league or let them stay in.

There's no comparison to be made.

Rangers used a perfectly legal scheme. We didn't believe the loan payments should be taxable, HMRC disagreed. It's now been ruled they are in fact taxable. It was simply a tax avoidance (note, avoidance NOT evasion) scheme that didn't have the intended tax savings that the promoter of the scheme believed it would.

Still doesn't mean the scheme is illegal, just that tax needs to be paid on the loans payments now. Which it will be, to the extent that the company, now in liquidation, can afford from the creditors' pot.
