eosmhdo 1,879
Both pish and never good enough for the club imo
gsa 3,906
Both poor inmu opinion. Neither can cross with any accuracy for consistency. Atrocious defenders. Your full backs are always going to be an out ball and ours are just not good enough. Possession constantly lost because Wallace awkward and cumbersome and Tavernier trying to do too much.
.Williamson. 82,127
Nah, they're both fairly shite. I actually think Tav is better than Wallace aswell
Ryan_1 1,136
I wouldn't say either are our main problems, but it frustrates the life that every single one of our attacks rely on one of them.
Ferris Bueller 1,569
Both terrible, terrible defenders who occasionally chip in going forward. Can't wait to see the back of both of them.

jackrfc95 4,255
Wallace is one of our worst players.
Ryju84 3,170
They are poor at defending because they are asked to bomb forward. If they are going to be our 'wingers' can they at least hit crosses higher than a midget's testicles?
Reformation Bear 6,453
Underrated?  I had to look twice at that assessment.   My view is this   The first and primary job of a full back is to be able to defend properly.   IMO neither can do this.  Whatever else they contribute is of lesser importance - if they can't defend as they should then they should not be in the team.
geronimoo 1,474
Both are hopeless but the fact they are feeding the ball into the box for an equally as hopeless Miller and Waghorn doesn't help. Â I always wondered why the fannies who make up songs and nicknames for our useless players never did it for Wallace.
ZeeFour 43
I think Lee Wallace, much like Jason holt, Andy Halliday and a few others, has found his level at the championship. I didn't see any improvement with him, and I don't rate him as a captain. Rangers don't owe him anything, he stayed with us throigh the lower leagues but he hasn't got the quality to win in big games. Â James isn't a Rigt Back. The quicker we shift him to RW the better. Simple as.
StirlingBear72 476
We need far superior full backs if we are going to challenge. Defend first, then, if you can chip in with assists/goals great. However, do your job first, which in my eyes is to defend.
LaudrupsPatrickBoots 13,510
Both overrated if anything. Wallace especially.

Tenerife Bear 1,748
Stats can be used to show anything. We all watch these 2 guys with our own eyes and can see how poor they are. Both need replaced as soon as possible. They are pish.
Number5 2,121
Think we if have plans for playing two deep lying midfielders in Jack and Rossiter, then you'll need your wing backs to a real threat, arguably your biggest assets going forward. Unfortunately neither of them have the quality to be able to be as effective as they need to be, both been found out at SPL level in that sense.
Murty 210
5 assists each from the source of almost all of our attacks last season isn't a particularly great return in my eyes when you consider the goals we've lost as a result of them leaving the defence exposed. They are a big part of the reason we've been so poor for so long. Pedro needs to change that style of play as it was clearly sussed by our opponents a long time ago.
Falcoholic 1,348
They aren't full backs and we should never be playing them as if they are. When was the last time you heard anyone say that either of them had a brilliant game? Ever? Case rested.
The Ibrox Derry 8,904
I think both players underate themselves at times by poor showings. Both are very decent players but they need to show it more consistently, and playing for Rangers you have to do it 9 times out of 10 minimum. I think both are selling themselves short in that department.
Gaz52 11,837
Tavernier is a confidence player, he reminds me a lot of Whittaker, on their day they can do fantastic things with the ball but when they're having an off day (which seems to be more than on days) then they are woeful and an accident waiting to happen. The way Wallace controls and passes the ball gives me the fear as well, just doesn't look natural, no right foot what so ever. We could be doing with a couple of solid, ball-playing full-backs. I don't have any suggestions as to who they might be but I'm sure if we scour the planet we can find two who'll do a job in this abysmal league we play in
Two Bears 2
Actually thought this post was a joke! As a defender your main objective is not to concede goals. If I was a centre half playing for the Bears just now, I would be giving both full backs a hard time, especially Tavernier. How many times have you seen Tavernier just jog back after losing the ball in the opposition's half? As for man marking when actually defending, I don't think he knows how to defend. Looks good on the eye when going forward but that's not his main role in the team.  Tav is never a defender and I think we've seen the best of Wallace.
SuperLeeMcCulloch 2,330
People wanting Tavernier as a winger need there heads checked, his final ball is absolutely honking, never seen a guy get into so many good positions to cross the ball then either hit the first man or goes out for a throw in on the otherside. Blue Avenger 22,567
Anyone who thinks Tav is a player should be watching fucking net ball! Fucking hate these threads, trying to bum up what is clearly obvious. Shite, shite and mer shite. Tav's a fucking poof that should never be near a blue jersey.
