Both poor inmu opinion. Neither can cross with any accuracy for consistency. Atrocious defenders. Your full backs are always going to be an out ball and ours are just not good enough. Possession constantly lost because Wallace awkward and cumbersome and Tavernier trying to do too much.

Underrated?   I had to look twice at that assessment.

My view is this    The first and primary job of a full back is to be able to defend properly.    IMO neither can do this.   Whatever else they contribute is of lesser importance - if they can't defend as they should then they should not be in the team.

Both are hopeless but the fact they are feeding the ball into the box for an equally as hopeless Miller and Waghorn doesn't help.

I always wondered why the fannies who make up songs and nicknames for our useless players never did it for Wallace.

I think Lee Wallace, much like Jason holt, Andy Halliday and a few others, has found his level at the championship. I didn't see any improvement with him, and I don't rate him as a captain. Rangers don't owe him anything, he stayed with us throigh the lower leagues but he hasn't got the quality to win in big games.

James isn't a Rigt Back. The quicker we shift him to RW the better. Simple as.

He's not a winger. Really wish we would abandon this mentality of wanting to shift players into new positions because they're not good enough to do their actual job in the team.

Think we if have plans for playing two deep lying midfielders in Jack and Rossiter, then you'll need your wing backs to a real threat, arguably your biggest assets going forward. Unfortunately neither of them have the quality to be able to be as effective as they need to be, both been found out at SPL level in that sense.

5 assists each from the source of almost all of our attacks last season isn't a particularly great return in my eyes when you consider the goals we've lost as a result of them leaving the defence exposed.

They are a big part of the reason we've been so poor for so long. Pedro needs to change that style of play as it was clearly sussed by our opponents a long time ago.

Tavernier is a confidence player, he reminds me a lot of Whittaker, on their day they can do fantastic things with the ball but when they're having an off day (which seems to be more than on days) then they are woeful and an accident waiting to happen.

The way Wallace controls and passes the ball gives me the fear as well, just doesn't look natural, no right foot what so ever.

We could be doing with a couple of solid, ball-playing full-backs. I don't have any suggestions as to who they might be but I'm sure if we scour the planet we can find two who'll do a job in this abysmal league we play in

Actually thought this post was a joke!  As a defender your main objective is not to concede goals. If I was a centre half playing for the Bears just now, I would be giving both full backs a hard time, especially Tavernier. How many times have you seen Tavernier just jog back after losing the ball in the opposition's half? As for man marking when actually defending, I don't think he knows how to defend.

Looks good on the eye when going forward but that's not his main role in the team.

Tav is never a defender and I think we've seen the best of Wallace.

I genuinely think that Tavanier  is seriously underrated. Top player for me.

Conversely, Lee Wallace is overrated and should be sold.

Hopefully Tavernier will be a standout this season.....at Notts Forrest!

He is fucking shite.
