Marky. 6,923
Bizarre signing and one that shows once again how badly Warburton underestimated what he was walking into.

Pedro is undoubtably not doing a good job right now, but at least he has brought in players with pedigree. Dorrans, Alves possibly Cardoso and Pena could prove to be good signings. Warburton's best players were his goalkeeper and Miller in his second season. Pedro is clearing out a lot of deadwood but I still can't help but feel McKay being sold was a big mistake. Barton could easily have succeeded, Senderos was a joke long before his debut and Kranjcar is made of balsa wood and could yet be decent I suppose. Pedro's signings are at least in their prime. Can only wait and see in hope that they turn good, but certainly guys like Dorrans and Alves should fit in and improve us.

Maybe a better calibre of player but if you can't motivate them to play together it's fucking pointless.
LegendofCoop 17,254
Gutted. Thanks for the memories Matt. You will be a big loss to the team, Rangers loss is Northampton's gain!! Best of luck! Who was he again?
Truth_is_out_there 197
A strange signing, but wish the guy all the best. Such a pity though that the deal didn't come with a 'buy one get one free offer', and Northampton could have taken Windass off the wage bill too. Unfortunately for them and Pedro they have to hit the ground running, we're not good enough to let anyone have any time to settle in. Here's hoping, Saturday should give us a better gauge of them not expecting a big win just looking for a solid performance.

onefootwillie 1,518
Wish him all the best , don't think I actually saw him play but in interviews I always felt he found the size of the club and pressures too much

buster. 1,114
The model is supposeed to add value and not stockpile 'deadwood'. Something fundamental has been wrong since the Cup semi-final win 15 months ago.
