It was only in the late sixties that Liverpool, Man United and cellic really started to establish themselves with Busby, Shankly and BJK. If we are talking worldwide "supporters" then you would have to say that the top 6 teams in England are bigger given the coverage the EPL gets around the globe these days. Gaz52 11,837 Posted July 29, 2017 Share Posted July 29, 2017 You might get more "fans" of clubs throughout the world than Rangers but in terms of actual supporters who live for the club, Rangers are unrivalled in the U.K. IMO. 200k+ in Manchester, another 30 odd thousand watching at Ibrox, plus the rest who watched in their house, local pub etc. You'll do well to ever find as great a support as that for as long as you live. Who cares if we don't have people in Thailand buying our top and pretending to be a fan? We're the best supported team where it matters most, home.
