Kirkintillochbear 48
This thread is comedy gold. The thread that keeps on giving, hopefully giving a lot to Erskine.

govanblue 16,847
So yeah, this thread has come to a natural end. But then I noticed that my first post has got 19 likes, and frank's first post has got 20 likes. So on paper, he's slightly ahead. Hung jury perhaps? Or shall we take it to appeal? Or maybe just battle it out... *** The Official Team gb v team GB Match Thread. Formations: v Kick off - Anytime soon. But tbh, I'm not too fussed if the Good Guys lose, because either way, the Fund is already £170 richer, and 10 members stronger than it was two days ago. I'm happy with that - for now! KeyserSoze 15,277
usual suspects in team GB tbh... although there are a couple of shockers in @BridgeIsBlue and @OneDavidCooper - who'd have thunk it eh...collaborators Can you say who is already a fund member from that lot? it's like they were upsetting the dressing room harmony or something.. anyway it's a draw 20 -

The Tavernator 279
Don't care if I've been 'reported', or if any eejit thinks I'm a taig, or if I'm banned from this forum; I'll still enjoy my football with a nice bottle of 12 year old cask strength Springbank, or whatever fine whisky I've got then. Dont even know what erskine fund is.

Dont even know what erskine fund is. And yet strangely, some people tell me to stop promoting the Fund because everybody's heard of it. Seems some people were wrong. You've not been reported. You were exempted from the reporting because you're very obviously a Good Bear. Nobody thinks you're a taig (not even the eejits) and nobody's banning you any time soon. The Erskine Fund is a voluntary association of RangersMedia Members who have each donated £10 or more to our Fund. Our Fund is then spent largely on making life more enjoyable for British Forces Veterans with Dementia, who are residents of one of three Erskine Care Homes in the West of Scotland (total residency - approx 240) One of the many many ways we make their life more enjoyable is by making sure that in their twilight years, they are well-stocked with whisky, while they enjoy their football. That's the least they deserve! Here's some of that whisky... And here are some of those Veterans... There'a a lot more to the RM Erskine Fund than that though, but tbh that should be enough evidence to gladly part any Good Bear from his £10* note. *£10 is about $13 - So little, from so few, to support so many. That's a great response, mate - you've convinced me to cough up. To think I just spent 90 bucks on that Springbank when these old guys are having to do with Glenfiddich! (Didn't see any Springbank in those photos, so I'm worried the vets are not being taken care of properly, but I'm sure there's enough of the fine stuff to keep them smiling.) Cheers.
