Assuming he keeps going, he won't be sold till the end of next year, barring a daft offer.

Europe is where we need to be. That's when his value will really solidify. Just hope the Board are on the ball with him (with contracts etc) and make the right calls so that we get what we should when the time comes.

Anyway. I just want to see him being successful with us for now. He's got bags of time.

Potential 25 goals a season player. If he does grab a load then the offers will come in and we are in no position to reject serious offers

Pish, why on earth would we sell a player with the potential to contribute to us winning things.

Winning things = £££.

Because we are a selling club, bringing players in on the cheap, developing them and selling them for a profit is the route we need to be going down.

No, we will be back on a sound financial footing before you know it.

You will get one, maybe two a season perhaps that are worth anything going down that route. You will end up in a cycle of selling buying selling buying to find that golden nugget as all the decent players will gravitate towards successful teams and our talent pool in the youth system is not strong enough to feed us that kind of cash.

We will not be successful by selling our talent. It's a difficult chicken and egg but players like Morelos may be more valuable to us long term than selling him from a team that's not winning anything.

Why would we sell him in January?

Why would anyone suggest such shite?

"Oh hey we just got a brilliant player who looks a consistent goal scorer! Let's sell him!"

It's so incredibly stupid, 10m does sound nice but if he's worth 10m the now according to some people then keep him for a few years, get some european games in him and possibly even national call ups and bump the price tag up even more. Get 30m for him and then we're laughing. Meanwhile those years we do have him, we're getting goals scored.

win/win.

The lad has played a handful of games for us and some have him sold by January. Worse than football agents.

If he continues to score for fun we'd be stupid to sell him when he can get us 55 and a dig at CL football. We haven't waited all these years for a class striker to punt him at the first opportunity.

It's well worth forfeiting 10 million if he gets us to where we want to be.

I will ignore the hysteria and enjoy watching his contribution.

You obviously have the traditional bear  ideology of being a winner. The sad thing these days that other leagues are tv cash rich and can pay wages far beyond what we can

If morelos progress continues his value will increase and so will hid own personal earning potential.

The fact that there is very little media hype on him moving shows our board wants him on the park for as long as possible rather than cashing in early

There's a perfect comparison in this country .the hype machine that the filth bought last year was last season linked with big money moves and there was even a 40m bid fabricated to try and boost his chances of leaving in the summer for more than he was worth .iv not watched much of their player but from what I have saw morelos is better in loads of departments and equal at least in the rest

He will leave one day.lets just hope we see at least 2 seasons .would love a 3rd to see him playing cl for us .but when he does leave we need as much cash as possible to reinvest to take the whole squad up another level

Buying/selling/replacing is the model we need to go down, is it ideal?  Course not, but buying cheap selling high is the way to run a club successfully when you don't have money to go and splash the cash.
