Sadly the boys going away and all over Europe are the core of the support. Our club and its identity comes from a working class protestant background bred by true presbyterians of the gallant pioneers. No charity, priests or child abuse here unlike the great unwashed. Its a morgue when we’re winning too. Plus even if it wasn’t, what a poor excuse that is to not back the team. Our support is great for numbers, terrible at backing the team. Sad truth. I'm not offering it as an excuse, more an explanation. The football is often shite when we're winning, too. If we were challenging, and playing good football, the atmosphere would be much better. I find it ironic in Scotland these days that you could get lifted for singing "Who Shagged All the Bhoys", yet the folk doing the shagging walk free, something not quite right.
