And not a word about the three clowns that gave him the job............

The disturbing angle to this is that it appears that we fell for a sales pitch that may have been conflicted in that the agent (Pedro Mendes) was 'too close' to one of the directors who was involved in the selection process. I'm not talking about corruption, just about being partialy blinded to the facts.

I think it also reflects badly on the MD, Stewart Robertson who is plainly out of his depth.

Good point/s

I'd add that it's time for the board to quickly take stock and review how the club operates and consider making any changes now, prior to the AGM.

As I mentioned before, IMO Stewart Robertson needs replaced by a more hard nosed and competent CEO.

IMO Traynor and our 'political PR' need to be changed as well.

Decision-making seems to be reactionary and that really needs to change to being within a coherent medium to long term strategy.

References to failures being 'institutional' and 'systemic' should be a big concern not only to the Directors but for the Support.   For Directors to have allowed such failing to become institutional and systemic without intervening earlier sounds to me like they've been sitting on their hands hoping for the best but not preparing for the worst.

Surely he's not suggesting that a conclusion of systemic and institutional failure has only been a light bulb revelation this week (he does say they are not deaf and blind to things).     That being the case sacking Pedro and his team was a crash that was always going to happen sooner or later.     They appointed him and they were responsible for setting the policy and operational framework within which the manager operates.   To have allowed institutional and systemic failure to become even a hint of possibility after all the Club has been through seems to me the Directors were not sufficiently engaged, were lacking in leadership and intervention skills and had allowed such failing to progress unchecked until the inevitable crisis happened.

IMO they should be facing some searching questions about their own capabilities as Directors and about the effectiveness of their stewardship of our Club.   The opportunity for this arises at the forthcoming AGM.   They had best make sure they have appointed a clearly experienced, credible and appropriate manager by then with vastly improved results and performances being produced.

Interesting that both BBC and stv reported tonight that DK will take a more hands on approach in finding the new guy perhaps a few home truths have been told

That hands on ,as soon as the meeting was over yesterday ,King reportedly fucked off straight back to South Africa ffs , get him tae fuck

I think having given Pedro free reign for 7 months, they had to step in. They are saying that in his tenure, it was a mess with players, results etc. That's how I see it.

Can't complain there will be no big budget. Many on here thought they could or would not sack that management team. They did it, and it cost. We carry on.

I don't like agreeing with you but in this case I do.

I'd go further though, there's individuals in the boardroom in addition to the MD and head of Comms who need punted and punted quickly.

Even assuming King is untouchable (which I hope is not actually the case), the likes of Paul Murray are incompetent cancerous and toxic individuals who should have no role to play in our clubs future.

If failures are deemed to be institutional and systemic the root cause is seldom only at a middle management level. It is normally a top down issue.

It's about time your head fell out of King's arse and you looked about and actually can now see what we all have been saying since this board got in through lies.

This is an excellent summary. Unfortunately, I don't believe aj intended to be this candid about the board's failings.

I believe, as a few of our more cynical posters do, that he was preparing the ground for a new manager being expected to deliver with existing resources.

He is the only one with the ability to show some transparency

King and most definitely Murray .Can both get to fuck

Its basicky the same failed board that continue to fail

When are thousands of bears going to wake up to this

We need revolutionary change st the very top

A new manager won't be enough

Be sure of that

I think that’s a pretty arrogant thing to say.

I’d say the majority would advocate having a new board, if there was a suitable replacement.

Bottom line is that there isn’t. No ones chapping on the door ready to take over. You can force change when there isn’t an alternative.

Does my tits in when people say ‘wake up’ like you’re opinion holds any more value than anyone else’s. If anything you need to wake up to the fact that there isn’t an alternative just now, and screaming for change when there isn’t another option is pointless.

Same bastard whilst part of our previous board, lied about the bank not having the upper hand. Muirs left/right hand man and good friend of Manus Fullerton .

The same cunt who gave Martin Bain, the worst Chief Executive in football history - a 39-month notice period with full pay and bonuses.

Brought back in with great fanfare and lorded over by the paid hands and errand boys who boasted  that he had a contacts book thicker than the London phone book and would provide all sorts of sponsorship deals and financial openings :sarcasm:

As fucking sleekit and devious as King and brings about as much to the table as potless does.

You cannot get rid of the board. The process has no facility for this and no buyers in waiting. Only then will a coup come about. Corporate business moves differently than sacking managers, or selling players. Graeme 4 is  talking sense really ^^^

You don’t need to be a shareholder to sit on the board, you need to be capable of doing the job and so far they have fallen short by a long way.

If institutional failure means what I think it means in this context (the people from top to bottom in our institution has failed) then he’s correct and I applaud his honesty

Yes, basically he damned the whole lot of them, himself included.
