Looks offside at first glance so I’m surprised it wasn’t given, but replay showed his feet were in line with the Aberdeen defender’s, it was just his body was leaning offside. Credit to Murty who changed it. When I seen he had Mccrorie in midfield I was worried but the Christmas tree formation really worked well. Their wasn't any bad performances tonight imo. Mccrorie was relentless and Holt n Jack backed him up well. Definetely Windass' best full match for us, still has those greedy bastard moments but I wont complain on tonights performance. I thought Miller was really good too, played much further up the park tonight and I thought he sacrificed for the team in a poistive manner tonight. Miller and Windass making smart runs which left Pena with space and time to have a couple of attempts at goal and a goal. Pena is a real quandry, seems to know where the goal is and has a good goals to game ratio, but can go through games contributing sweet FA. Wonder if the new manager can bring more to his game. Another game that highlights that defence/midfield can be pretty good but thst we need speed and more goal threat to go on an u beaten run. Coukd still see us getting beat this Sunday. Couldn’t believe what I was watching, the hunger and movement was fantastic! Watched on SKY and had the bonus of the second half without any commentators, just the sound of the crowd in the stadium.
