One of the biggest things that impresses me with him is that he doesn't hide if he fucks up. Just gets on with it and tries to do better. He does look quite comfortable on both which is a major asset. I guess what I liked about his DM position was his strength . Seems ages since we've had a DM that has a presence like that and doesnt get bullied about . Still , it' a good problem to have for any prospective manager. Gman36 3,453
Don't want to get too carried away but he really does look like a player. Hugely impressed by him this season. Was brilliant last night. Keeps playing like this he'll be the first name on the team sheet.
TheMotor 2,208
Having only seen him at CB, where he has looked to play solid, no nonsense stuff, I had no idea of the touch and agility he possesses. Truly impressed. We need to get him on a longer term deal and let him grow into that role. A 6 foot plus midfielder, with good touch, who can tackle, pass and dominate in the air. Who wouldn't want more of that?
Swagger 7,676
The boy had a cracking game - very composed
Scottyarf37 963
Loves a tackle, few strong ones. Exactly what we want, big string lad and will only get better Many have tried and failed for us in the Dm role, thought he was excellent last night
five stars 1,606
He'll do as a defensive midfielder until we get Halliday back.

geronimoo 1,474
Was impressed with him against Aberdeen, not wanting to get to carried away but he looked like he had been playing first team football fir years and looked comfortable. Creampuff 22,628
Still think he’ll be a CB rather than a DM long-term, but he really strolled it last night against a side second in the league.

pcbear 10,913
I feared the worse when he was on the deck at Dens Park, thinking fuck me just our luck to find a gem then he is crocked 5 minutes into his Rangers career like Kuznetsov and Rosental, but hey the big fellas made of strong stuff 5 days later strolling it in an unfamiliar position. B1872 20,439
I’d rather see the young boys get a chance. Surely we have a striker in the under 20s instead of playing the likes of Windass upfront? Wee Hardie clearly isn’t fancied!

Smile 26,592
Played well had to reign it in a bit after the yellow card great that even after that he never looked like he could be sent off unlike some players who have you on edge thinking he's going here. Showed Maturity.

Young Bob 1,360
Great performance last night and I would keep playing him there as our midfield actually performed and Miller stuck to his position.
Jb85 1,783
That pass to Windass though was very good. Good eye for a pass.

Yeah, I didn't know he had that type of vision in him. Actually showed a few qualitys last night I didn't know he had. Especially with his passing, the speed & accuracy of them were impressive. As SPFL Radar said, Warburton had the DM he wanted all along.
Jb85 1,783
agree. Same again on Sunday though. We were shite at home before this game and better away. Hopefully picks up from here.
HG5 10,946
Grew into it & didn’t look out of place. Seems to have put the Accies slip up well behind him & fair play to the management for sticking with him through that. Not sure where it leaves him positionally (I’d assume he’s happy just to keep getting games, at present), but I thought Wilson looked much more secure with Bruno alongside him. CF2 WINNIE 1,006
His family are diehard Rangers as well so he will be going nowhere in a hurry, doesn’t strike me as the type that will chase the cash. Excellent prospect for is outstanding last night. Long may it continue
GersInCanada 7,775
Murty knows Ross from the Development squad so I would say he played that role before and is perfectly comfortable in it. It must be good for the other youngsters to see that making the first team is doable.
