He absolutely is. Saved us countless times this season and stopped us finishing mid table last season.

Whit???? Take yesterday's goal. Why is he not attempting take a ball coming into the six yard box, a couple of yards away from him??? He also caused the fuckin scramble at the end that almost resulted in an equaliser.

On current form: McCrorie, Jack and John.

McCrorie looks comfortable on the ball wherever he is on the park. The boy has class. Hope he's fit for Wednesday night.

Jack - if he can stay on for 90 minutes - has the ability to break up play and find the right pass. We'll miss him.

John - has been doing everything on the left with very little help. When he starts running past opponents with the ball at his feet you get the feeling that something good might happen. Not the greatest as a defender - but hard working and honest.

You can pick and choose small mistakes all you want, but over the piece he’s one of our best and most important players.

In terms of ability (Much harder than it looks when thinking about it) -

Kranjcar (Genius ability on the ball and in his head)

Candeias (Stunning first touch and more often than not a terrific delivery with great pace and endeavour)

Dorrans (Raw skill, dribbling, long shots, touch, passing, this kid has it all)

In terms of importance to the team -

Alves (the defence is far stronger and secure with him in it)

McCrorie (His OF debut rocketed him to first team regular for me, way beyond his years this kid.)

Tavernier (statistically the best full back in the country)
