McCormack went to another top flight team, scored a few goals and built a reputation from there. Hardie has had several spells in the lower leagues and doesn't even look like he would be a top player at that level never mind a higher one. Feel Hardie is one of the ones touted for big things but was never going to cut it. Granted he hasn’t been given a right good go in the first team (the last appearance he made he was on the left wing with a Herrera up top).
