They’re playing one of the worst teams in the league and Lafferty scored 2 against Motherwell for us already

Him scoring for us has nothing to do with what I said. But to be expected from you.

Yeah its not like they have beat other sides without him. Argument was he was so important and they needed his goals...

Hearts massively struggling without Lafferty eh?

Usual idiots on here just don't get football and overrate the importance of certain players.

Aye, skelping title chasing, on form St Mirren for their gaffer who’s just out of hospital while at home.

Certainly proves they won’t miss their talisman from last season.

McFadden slagging off our defence and saying he dosent see the fuss about Goldson in relation to the Motherwell game ? Steven Thompson said it was his one bad game . And McFadden says well it's the only one I have seen.

A team that have conceded one away goal in Europe and vastly improved yet he feels he can base it all on one game ? Plus why has he only seen one Rangers game , he is Scotland assistant manager. Has he not been watching potential players playing in European football?

If only they had someone ready to step in and take over...

I think to be fair Kenny and Neil are good friends from when they played together for us, but if Neil was sacked who knows, in football some strange things happen.

I just hope Neil does get the chance to turn it around, he is someone I respect greatly.

St Mirren are set to axe Alan Stubbs and call on Jim McIntyre in a bid to reverse an alarming start to the season.

The Buddies have lost three of their four opening league fixtures and sit second bottom following their return to the Premiership.

Record Sport understands the former Hibs manager will become the first top-flight managerial casualty of the campaign - less than three months after accepting the job.

Stubbs replaced Championship-winning gaffer Jack Ross on a three-year deal in June following his move to Sunderland.
St Mirren opened their Premiership campaign with a 2-1 victory under Dundee but that success has been followed by worrying displays against Rangers and Livingston.

Those losses were preceded by an indifferent Betfred Cup campaign that included draws with Spartans and Queen's Park before a 4-0 thumping from Aberdeen.

Stubss' side shipped another four goals away at Hearts on Saturday and that has proved the final straw for the Paisley club's hierarchy who will now turn to former Ross County boss McIntyre .

The 46-year-old has been out of work since being sacked by Ross County just under a year ago.

McIntyre recently rejected an offer from Falkirk to replace Paul Hartley and is now on a verge of a top-flight return.

As funny as it is because it's Stubbs, that's utterly shocking from St Mirren.

You look at that, and apart from is moving the net.... Well every Partick player wheels away in celebration, and Morton look dejected, heads in hands - starting to trudge back to the halfway line.

WTF does the referee think has happened? I appreciate he might not have had a clear view of the ball going in, but the body language of 22 players makes his decision for him - surely? It an obvious goal on so many levels.

Absolutely bizarre decision.
