Tell the fans and world what's going on that is fucking him over.

Or earn 825k per annum, 1m penny shares and 9 months gardening leave.

What was his decision mate?

Did you miss the deffered wages during admin and the wage reduction till he resigned on purpose? surely if you demand facts you must be reciprocal. I understand the resentment at the penny share because I am not too sure whats going on with that myself, as for his contract thats a legality that Rangers were duty bound to uphold.  This thread will end up like porn for the taigs by the way, bear ripping bear. For that I am out

I agree his wage was over the top but he deserved it imo and with regards to his job, would you walk away?

We are also talking about figures that are hearsay and never been proven.

While former chief executive Charles Green’s pay packet of £933,000 for less than a year’s work was seized on by many when illustrating the hubris of a club that can ill afford extravagance, McCoist’s own salary, revealed in the

accounts to be £825,828 was also widely remarked upon.

Eyebrows were raised at the lavish rewards on offer for winning the Third Division championship in what was Scottish football’s fourth tier. By contrast, Neil Lennon, the celtic manager, is reported to earn £350,000 per annum.

McCoist claimed yesterday to be neither “surprised nor disappointed” by the decision of the Rangers board to reveal details about his salary, although it was something he understood had never been done before. McCoist also claims that he signed the lucrative contract to succeed Walter Smith in 2012 having not even looked at it, “like any Rangers fan would”.

Asked whether he had gone without wages for a period during the club’s spell in administration, he confirmed that he had. “But I don’t want to say that as if ‘what a great guy he is’,” he added. “Again, it was something any Rangers supporter would have done who was in our position.”

He is now in negotiations to reduce the level of his current salary and he dismissed speculation that the wage cut was only a very limited one. “I took a call from a journalist on Wednesday who’d been directed that the wage cut was minimal and we’d get all the money back if we won the league,” he reported. “Someone might have been up to no good with that one. I can

categorically tell you it’s not true.

Instead, he referred those present to a report in one newspaper yesterday that revealed the cut would be nearer 50 per cent. “The figures today are far nearer the mark and that’s where we are,”

The Rangers manager would clearly have preferred such information concerning his salary and proposed wage cut to remain private, although he insists he was not “outraged” by the decision by the club’s board to highlight the information in the set of accounts.

****

These hearsay figures or other ones...?

Rangers were bound to uphold....

Maybe if super ally had looked at his bank account he'd have been embarrassed to earn 2.5 times the scum manager whilst losing to part timers. There was nothing to stop him lowering his contractual salary after all.

At least it's all forgotten and we can all move on.....from his abysmal failure st getting us promoted including multiple losses against teams who were on buttons compared to us.

He fucking ruined us.

What other 3rd division manager earned it? How do you quantify AM earning 2.5 times the spl winning team manager's salary whilst he was in the 3rd division?

Fan base, what other 3rd division team had our fan base?

We needed a quick fix to be back where we belong.

Right or wrong that's it in a nutshell.

What so he was getting 2.5 times what their manager was getting, have you any factual evidence of that? Do you know that also the 800,000 you quoted also was for the 13 month period and not per year as you are insinuating? Do you think our silverware would have remained in place had McCoist not been there ? How many players do you think would have tuped over had he not been there?

As I say we can kick this back and forth all night or you can just accept that some people do not see things as you do, as I am willing to do for you. I get the fact that I won't change your mind on this but I respect your right to that view why can't you show me the same respect ?

Going to my bed now, have a good night :rangers:

An 825k quick fix. ?

Who never knew his salary. ??

Who led us to several of the most embarrassng defeats in our history against minnows, part timers, and teams whose managers were at fucking weddings.

We needed someone to get us back to the premier league, first time round, in a position of strength given our expenditure getting back.

He didn't get us there never mind in a position of strength. Still had his karaoke time tho.

That's the fucking nutshell.

Pedro led us to one of the most embarrassing defeats in our history, pretty sure you backed him!

Mistakes were made but If your of and age over 30 then I bet you celebrated Ally like most of us.

No point in fingering the blame on one man.
