From the lips of Jimmy Millar

Good article, that really only amplifies the ineptness of the board.

Don't really want to get into any further Manager bashing, as enough has been said already and he's not the man. Enough has also been said the suspended players affair. It all just being symptomatic from the root and branch systemic problems that exist in our club these days.

Standards at the club have simply nose dived under this board, between the lies and deceptions, the intrigue and court cases. Then we have the media, politicians and plod getting in on the act, just to make sure our humiliation is complete and all without response from the club.

As stated the managerial appointments have been seriously found wanting, with the knock on effect of renewing squads every season and being well out of pocket from bringing the wrong type of player both in ability and mentality and results reflected the transfer policy and delivering nothing but disappointment.

Despite all the promises and pledges from king, they never materialised. We were left in the dark with no transparency. Poor leadership and lack of governance  and a crisis in court every other week as he played cat and mouse with Ashley and we still don't know the true cost of that.

King now faces resolving  the COS/TOP issue as we later find out that he couldn't leave his ways of the past behind him and tried to screw over the UK authorities in his coming to power.

Our crest lays tarnished before us, as we literally were robbed of our dignity at the hands of this board.and we stood by and watched eyes wide open as we silently waited for the promised jam tomorrow. Never has a board been given so much leeway in not delivering. The lies and deceptions and the silences became the order of the day.

However, with the culmination of events over the last few days, prompted by the humiliation delivered by the hand of our deadliest enemy, as manager and players capitulated, the fans have at last found a voice and say no more.

The time has now come for this board to show their worth and do the right thing by this greatest of institutions and prove they are the real Rangers men they purport to be.

No more promises. By deed, deliver what had already been promised and correct all the wrongs of the last three years in providing the calibre of manager and players that can deliver this title. No more, no less and that process starts now, all to be in place and well prepared to kick off the new season, or step adide.  It's as simple as that.

When Murty made the post match statement was this before or after the incident with Miller and Wallace?

If before, then he deserves the criticism. If after, then surely the comment can be put down to him masking what's just happened from the press. And he's not discussed it due to conduct of players which has been at a level where discussion isn't an option.

Was at the game, didn't hear it, and don't care for Murty but am interested if this can be confirmed.

Can anyone who watched on tv or heard the radio comment on the timing of this, how long after final whistle was the interview?

The board are out their depth.

Would King or Park let a trainee accountant manage any of their other business’s?

Of course they wouldn’t so why the fuck do they think it’s ok for Murty to be managing us?

You hit the nail right on the head mate neither the board or stand in manager have a fucking clue.

I love the concept that Murty grassed.  You do have to wonder if some are capable of rational thought.  If the situation has been such as rumoured the probability is that there was no need to grass as the players disgracing themselves will have been witnessed by many inc potentially the board.  The manager is out of his depth but so are two thirds of the players inc the career over Miller.  They are all a disgrace to the club.

Whilst the despair & anger over Sundays ‘performance’ goes on, we now have another off field circus to watch unfold re our manager & two most senior & influential (mostly off the park) players.

There will be no end of rumour, spin, lies & opinions in this which will no doubt end up with F Wishart PFA etc all getting involved.

As fans we’re going to have to suck it all up as we’ve become accustomed to.

Everyone & their dog will have an opinion as to the consequences for those involved but let’s not be distracted from the crux of the problem.

The men in positions of power at Ibrox are repeatedly failing us.

Action speaks louder than words hence I think that quite rightly they are in for a very rough ride.
