Well he had a stern talking to and has offered it up for the pup although he doesn't like dugs, as soon as he found out the dug was a blue nose he got all contrite and teary eyed. Would have even melted the coldest of hearts @Zetland Cheers!

Original target: £420 Amount raised (so far...) £1362.64 So that will get us a nice little Labrador pup. Cost: £950 And no, we're not calling him William of Orange (Pigeon) - we're calling him Broxi. And little Broxi is gonna need insurance. That's gonna cost £500, plus an extra £100 for Vets fees not covered by the insurance. So yeah, we still need a little bit more in the way of donations - unless you want me to dip in to the Erskine Fund?
BUILDMYGALLOWS1986 413
Why don't you run a bonus ball to name the puppy with names carefully chosen by yourself and assigned to people for £10 per ball ?

govanblue 16,847
So that's little Broxi now bought and paid for. I've given Fiona from BRAVEHOUND a clear definition of what staunch means, so I'm sure she'll recognise the little fella when she sees him. Unfortunately we didn't have quite enough money raised to pay for the insurance and vet fees, so we'll just have to hope that little Broxi doesn't run in to any "accidents" before we get a few quid more in donations. Anyone wanna help keep little Broxi alive a little longer???? PM me if you haven't already donated - or even if you already have - unless you're @Malvern !! Hopefully once the game tomorrow is past and we get this Gerrard situation sorted many more people will want to contribute for wee (at the moment) Broxi's insurance and vet fees. Jakes Pal 5,466
As long as you don't train him to give a nice paw. You will end up in court as a Nazi apologist. I will make a donation to this worthy cause when I sober up sometime on Monday, maybe Tuesday if the unthinkable happens at The Piggery. govanblue 16,847
Turns out this responsible parenthood is more expensive than I thought. Cost of Dog: £950 Additional running costs: Insurance Classic Plus - £289.20 Kennel Club Registration - £17.00 Microchip - £19.95 Vaccinations and boosters - £120.00 Flea/Tick Prevention - £90.00 Dog Neutering - £127.00 Total - £663.15 Total Year 1 costs: £1613.15 Raised so far: £1507.64 So just £105.51 needed for the dog neutering. And no, I'm not doing it myself, even if it is cheaper! Many thanks to @Malvern and @Zetland for yet another donation. I've lost count with those two. Many thanks also to @OnslowDriver @SteveEarle and @SW3 for their donations. SW3, bilko89, Zetland and 1 other

Bears r us 30,562
The dug is bought but as you can see from GB's post above we are a few £££££s short for Broxi's first year (which includes the initial cost of purchase) if anyone has a few £s spare it would be great. The RM Bravehound Broxi will be a life saver to some veteran who is going to receive him when he is ready. Perth_Campsie_Ger
