Rangers loan flop Carlos Pena is under fire in Mexico after brazenly buying six cans of beer immediately after training in his club gear.

The midfielder is back in his homeland with Cruz Azul after ex-Ibrox boss Pedro Caixinharecruited him on loan.

He's hardly played since he returned though and was slammed last week by Caixinha, who warned him that he would be sent back to Rangers at the end of his loan spell if he didn't shape up.

But he's not helped himself after he was spotted in an off licence next to his club's La Noria training complex immediately after morning training.

Pena purchased six cans of beer before driving off, which caused uproar among Cruz Azul fans after this was widely reported in Mexico City.

Meanwhile, Caixinha's own problems deepened after he was handed a two-game ban from the dug-out by the Mexican League after he was sent off at the weekend.

The Portuguese boss was ordered off in his side's 2-2 draw at Tigres in a Liga MX encounter.

Old boy I know his son works in a hotel - can't mind what one, didn't even ask cos wasn't overly shocked and believed him anyway that while he was staying in temp digs with us (the hotel) before he got a flat, he'd be in the hotel bar from 4pm every day knocking them back straight from finishing training, getting out and back to the hotel. It's like he had fuckall else to do.

Nothing new. The guys a tramp.

theres a player in there

I find this irrelevent now in all honesty.

He could settle down and become the Mexican Paul Scholes, but the day he blew his nose on the Rangers shorts first day at training was the day he was finished here. You'd expect Griffiths or Brown to do that, not some fat beaner who's been here two minutes, got 30k a week out of us for fuck-all and the club being as supportive and patient with him as we could be.

Guy's a weapons grade fister. I hope he drinks himself to death in some wee crack den of a flat in a Mexico slum.
