BlueKnight87 17,280
Always knew miller and Wallace would be no comment. The guy's pressers are now just the same old crap every week. BillyG93 154
I dont really blame Murty for this as he's out his depth but it was his call to take the Rangers job full time - who wouldn't though. Everything he says just seems the same every interview - its out a coaching manual & has no personal insight or interest. Any hard questions are given a non answer reply, or a statement of confusion and a insight of lack of understanding. This club isn't being managed properly and it's quite clear - what embarrassing interview, week, year, years for Rangers. slimjim1690
orange&blue92 1,284
The slightest bit of pressure and he folds, we need someone who thrives on pressure . The sooner he's away the better, for all party's involved.

Paulbrian11 432
I feel sorry for him to an extent in that he’s been put in an impossible situation and is out of his depth but he really should have walked after Sunday. Carrying on in the role isn’t doing himself, the players or the fans any good. The only people gaining from it is the board. Popular Post Reformation Bear 6,453
Seems to me its kind of a phoney conference really. I think he knows full well his time as manager is coming to an end. I think the journos suspect that too but are not on his case yet about this......but it'll come. Seems to me he's just trying to get through them as a business as usual event albeit understandably dodging the difficult points about what happened last week other and trying to deflect the issues into points about him learning and all that guff ahd generally trying to sidestep the issues. These conferences are probably going to get more and more difficult for him for each of the remaining games right up to the end of the season with journos progressively turning their attention more to him and his future......especially if the season continues to unravel. The real press conferences are those presumably only a few weeks downstream when someone has to announce who the manager is to be for next season and what the plans are for next season. And the one which tells the world the outcome of the investigations following he suspensions of Miller and Wallace. As a manager it seems to me his status is not a lot more than just being a warm bum keeping the seat warm pending replacement and going through the motions of getting through the last games. There is no way in this world that I could take inspiration or confidence from him that we will finish 2nd. No way. He just does not inspire any confidence at all. A bit like his invisible masters the DOF and the board. Rangers is not being led and managed right now. Its just a series of happenings. And they expect to sell season tickets on the back of this. It's a pity King, his board, the DOF, the manager and the players did not have a whole lot more of the loyalty and pride the Support shows in buying STs and match day tickets and still supporting loyally in spite of the shambles that routinely unfolds before us. AGM_72 3,602
Gonna go slightly against the grain here and give him a bit of sympathy. We'll keep hearing similar soundbites until we're winning titles again, the nature of pre-match and post-match press conferences is repetitive and it's usually the same questions with the same stock answers. All the important stuff will be said in the dressing room. He's not beyond criticism, I gave a fair amount out on Sunday, but he's certainly found himself in a position where even an experienced manager would likely struggle as a result of the wider situation at the club. I hope we see a big response on Sunday, though I doubt that we will, we sorely need to be at it from the start. Losing this game and going into another Old Firm game would be disastrous. elliotblu
