Rangers notes Hibernian’s decision to cut our supporters’ ticket allocation for the final match of the Scottish Premiership season at Easter Road on Saturday, May 13.

First and foremost Rangers hopes the safety of our fans, who will now be in only one section of the South Stand rather than filling it completely, will not be compromised by this decision, which beggars belief.

This is the least Rangers expects for supporters who have repeatedly proven themselves to be the most loyal in the country by selling out away ticketing allocations at opposition stadiums for years.

This was evident as we rose through the divisions when clubs the length and breadth of the country, including Hibernian, benefitted financially from the presence of our fans.

Rangers will of course bear in mind Hibernian’s decision when considering ticketing arrangements for future matches – both home and away – against this particular club.

You should be giving the club site the hits and only adding the hyperlink ?

Mmnn. I would have penned something more along the lines of:

Listen ya dirty spoon burning, bead rattlin Fenian bastards. Stick yer tickets right up yer well drilled arsehole.

Yours in Football, Department of Diplomacy, Rangers FC.

That's what I read tbh

The part at the end is probably also highlighting their attempt to reduce our allocation in the play-off's a few years ago.  Long time coming highlighting their admiration for the blue pound.

Hearts tried it for a few seasons and were quickly back to being shite and offering us a full stadium.  The difference there though is Hearts fans generally take a good home support to most games, whereas Hibernian for the last few years (for the most part) have had very little to sing about when it comes to large home crowds.

I'm mostly glad they highlighted fan safety.  The junkies just like their brethern in the East cannot be trusted on big games to behave.

Good statement , hibs are trying to create a rivalry and unfortunately due to our poor team it is now a big game , this fixture used to be a non event against an absolute also-ran of a club , about time next season it gets back to that

I agree.

Everythings boils down to us being weak and there for the taking. It's open season on us.
