Return of Pena

Is there ever a point where a player is in breach of contract and sackable?

Maybe if they poked a teammate’s eye with a lit cigar. Or in a brutal assault having drunk a lot of lager (more than 10 pints),  where they knocked a man to the ground, straddling him and punching him over and over again. Or had attacked  a teenager by punching him and breaking his teeth, then was sentenced to six months in jail for the “violent and cowardly act”.

Or assaulting a team mate at a training ground by striking him from behind and then repeatedly striking him in the face while he was on the ground, leading him to lose consciousness and suffer a detached retina.

In fact  would seriously doubt any top football club would sign someone who had done any of the above........................

I know they say if you bring a manager In you need to back him but surley after research the board should told Pedro we can’t afford 2.7 million on a clown that might turn out ok

I think Pedro has sold them on the gamble this guy was worth 10m but we can get him for 3 and I can sort him out. They are obviously thinking he could then be punted to the EPL if he gets back where he was. The fact very few Mexicans have traveled well should have rang a few alarm bells.

taking a punt like Dundee has done with that QPR guy is fine as it’s only his wages and not much. We have just went all in and looks like we lost.

Terminate contract, take the ht and move on and never ever sign Mexicans again

Not sure we need to write off all Mexicans because of this. They’re not particularly known for being fat pissheads tbf.

They aren't what's needed in our league, proven by our signings and the tranny that the mhanks had.

On-loan Rangers midfielder Carlos Pena will not remain at Cruz Azul, the club's manager Pedro Caixinha has confirmed.

Pena joined the Mexican club on a deal until January 2019, rejoining Caixinha who signed him for Rangers.

But the Portuguese manager has confirmed that Pena will not play for Cruz Azul again.

"Carlos [Peña] is not going to continue with us, he has known it directly from me," Caixinha said.

Pena, who was signed by the Ibrox last summer for an undisclosed fee reported to be around £2m, scored five goals in 14 Rangers appearances.

He has played seven times for Cruz Azul since joining them in January, but his last appearance was on 4 April, in a 2-1 defeat by CF America.

Caixinha was sacked by Rangers in late October after just seven months in charge.

Does that mean he's coming back from loan deal early or not continue with Cruz Azul past the loan period?

Just a thought, but maybe Pena thinks Caixinha is a total fuckwit and has been working his ticket to get away from him? ...either that or he's a complete waste of space....or perhaps both, which is more than likely :)
