Naismith & Whitaker I feel are the most despised because of the way they left. In those days of craig whyte, all our players at that time should have stopped playing, not left, but stopped playing - a horrible, horrible wee poisonous waif. And should never have been allowed anywhere near Ibrox. I should imagine there will be an equal amount of booing or stone silence from those who do remember - it sticks in throats. I won't be amongst those cheering. I know we need a decent keeper, after this season that is extremely evident. I know he is a good keeper(probably still the best in Scotland at present). I'm curious what sort of wage he has taken from us to be here. I know people say "oh under the circumstances you would have done the same" I disagree. He calls himself a Rangers Fan too. Did he think of the fans, leaving the way he did and our club nothing - regardless of who the money went to? Would you really(as a Rangers Fan) do the same? There are so many Rangers Fans who tried all sorts to keep our club afloat and yes duped in a lot of ways, but still here as fans. Would we do the same again? For me...yes. Whatever I could manage, I would. As said, I accept we need better, but he has plenty to prove. Coming back to us, does not prove anything other than a wage packet at present despite the smiles and jubilant talk in interviews. I won't be shouting out hatred towards him. It isn't my style, but I haven't forgotten. I was livid, I am not quite so much. Davis, Naismith and Whittaker though... I agree about CW being a poisonous waif. That's probably a little more mellow to what my mind is shouting right now. CoopsLaud, Prso's headband, Escobar and 6 others
RedWhiteBlue1872 407
McGregor is a winner and a vocal goalkeeper who is still performing at a high level. Could not give a flying f*ck what went before if he gets us closer to winning the title again. It is a great signing and he will make Foderingham look like the average pish player he is. Keep Alnwick and cash in on Fod and use that for a CB then it is a wonderful strategy/piece of business.

What was he on? Who would've matched that at the time? I think we need to get real, we were in a totally hopeless bargaining position. It's been 6 years, I've held some grudges for over 30 but I'm not holding one over McGregor. If he establishes himself as #1 and puts a shift in every game he has my 100% support. He's a better keeper than any we've had since he left, there's no arguments about that! That's your prerogative mate but I'm not going to change my feelings on what McGregor did simply because he's returned, same goes for if any of the others return As a Rangers player he'll obviously have my support and we really need him to be successful but he's got a big black mark against him as far as I'm concerned dougie76 and roboscot

Potdog 228
Will people start to forgive him if we go on to win the title with him in the squad? A title win is alot more valuable than what we would of got for him if he transferred over considering green and co were in control .

Heshootshescores 1,904
Great signing. A great keeper with a nasty streak which the best keepers usually have. Will take no shit from a ropey back line either. Just what we need.

Unless you take your own piggy bank along, of course, and sort the pelting out yourself. Not sure he's worth a ban though. I can just see you thrusting your pinky inside the pig trying to free the squashed-in coins all stuck inside at jaunty angles. Might be better to just throw the entire pig. It's always a pain in the arse trying to empty an over filled piggy bank.
