gazz74 5
Was the worst player on the park gave me the fear every time the ball came down his side. JCDBigBear
Real Ranger 3,193
A couple of moments of slack play from him, but overall thought he played well especially taking into consideration he's not had much game time and he was playing at left back against a decent team. Jakes Pal 5,568
Earned his wage tonight. We should expect or ask for nothing more.

You need to wake up a bit. He shouldn't be anywhere near the team and I'd rather we had a leftback as a third choice left back. Sounds like you need to wake up. Iggy666 2,880
He was our weak link and Maribor knew it. Had a torrid time tonight but handled it very well. A few poor decisions but nothing major. Boy can hold his head high. He might be nowhere near good enough but I'm proud of the big staunch bastard for his performance tonight. No surrender Andy. ??? trueblue 64
TopCat 4,511
Really pleased for the lad. Played his role well in a memorable away win in Europe against more than decent opposition. Well done Andy.
Amac9 2,060
Never going to be good enough and when everyone is available will probably be scratching his balls in the stands but can hold his head high tonight. Solid game.
OnwardsandUpwards 834
He isn’t good enough for a regular start but certainly worthy of a squad position if he comes in and does the job asked of him. After all isn’t that why teams have a squad in the first place? With all the games we are going to play over the coming weeks and months the more depth to our squad the better. SG gave him a clean slate and so far he has done nothing to mess it up. Well done for tonight. All the team did us proud.

Think your just trying to pick on something and anything mate. We never played as a team last season and was no structure to the way we played. I'm sure SG is aware of everyone's abilities. No need to talk a player down, who hasn't done much wrong tonight & since new management has come into place. Look at how bad Tav was last year but now with the way we play he actually looks like a very decent player so far. Iggy666

Popular Post Leeds_Bear 8,099
Good to see even after a solid performance people on here still feel the need to stick the boot in, and on one of our own. Not even constructive comments just petulant pish. Thought he played well tonight, they clearly targeted the left but he stood his ground well and battled for every ball. Obviously not our first choice left back but someone who will come in and give 100% when asked. geronimoo 1,474
I think when the Croatian and Flanagan are available he won't even make the bench, still put in a decent shift tonight from what I heard.

Popular Post rab wilson 3,246
Give the boy a fuckin break for fuck sake.he was a part of a team that's been built this summer by the gaffer, and gave us a backs to the wall performance, where so called superstars have crumbled in the past.all of them were magnificent tonight.andy halliday is one of us, living the dream of every one of us, I love the boy, just desperate to play some part for our magnificent club, he might no be the best Rangers player of all time, but he is our Rangers player.he must have been shitting it tonight under constant pressure, did fuckin magic. You started a thread about a player who I feel should be nowhere near the squad. He played for Gabala last season and was hopeless there as well. Tav last year was nowhere near as bad as Halliday ?. I'm not going to pretend he's good enough out of sympathy. JCDBigBear and SwallowsHisOwnSpunk

Vanoli 4,625
Did fine. Really happy for him. Didn't deserve to have his Rangers career end being sarcastically applauded by they rancid bastards.

We could do a lot worse than having a utility man like that in the squad who's desperate to get a game at any opportunity.
