i dont think thats the case at all but if thats what folk think theyre obviously wrong

obviously other strikers miss chances, i dont care about them though, but i do care about Morelos and last season he cost us games with his misses and its an issue thats hopefully been addressed.

Agreed mate, he went downhill rapidly last year. Hopefully that was down to the management turmoil more than just him not being able to cut it.

Interesting question would be if he bangs in 30 goals this season but can’t score against the scum, what would be said then.

A good article with proper analysis not clouded by hatred or worse, stupidity.  Analysis Corner: Morelos Myths By Dougie Wright (@dougie_wright) Alfredo Morelos has had a mixed time of

The reason why his misses are highlighted more is because our team relies on him for goals. When Dembele is missing chances they have someone else step up to the plate so it’s not as big a deal.

It’s obvious that for some no matter what he does he won’t do.

The two bad misses at Ibrox and Hampden against them were dreadful,  plus the couple at the Piggery which weren't much better. Missed a sitter at Easter Rd as well, and the game Hamilton beat us he missed at least one as well

Your not keeping count then. ??

Agreed mate, some of his misses has me pulling my hair.

Time will tell if he has improved this season another striker alongside him would go a long way to helping him.

Very likely, mate.

Seemed to work better with Miller alongside, so a bit of assistance might be all he needs.

Sunday can’t have harmed his confidence at all - could be the start of a hot streak!

I think one of the problems last year was that he was unhappy in the whole Rangers thing and the way it was going. Heavy defeats vs the taigs, changes of management, bad team performances, etc. From the position of the top scorer it must be underwhelming knowing that you put your best and its not enough, because theres so much deadwood around you. Now with Gerrard on board it seems like the team got together and are playing for each other, and surprisingly, we can actually see the guy smiling. Hope it continues for as long as possible.

Folk wanted Allyy gone after his first season and souness played him from the bench a lot and folk moaned all he had to his game was goals and he was to greedy and missed to many chances! With morelos’s start he might become even better!

Potentially the biggest myth in Scottish football history

We need more goals from our wingers and midfielders to support Morelos

This, all day long.

Morelos misses chances, like every other striker.  "too much" is  subjective term.

Morelos is much improved, has better support and a lot mote confidence.

He will be a Rangers legend before long.

Gerrard is building a team of legends, As Oddball says.... knock it off with them negative waves. Think that treble will be there and it will be there!!

‘Missed’ one major high profile chance last season in the 3-2 game.

In the draw at the piggery Gordon made an unbelievable stop, and the other header was a difficult chance IMO. Think it’s harsh to be too critical.

He does miss his fair share of chances, but he’s only 21 and his upside is great. He’s playing in a proper team now so let’s see it he can keep this form up. He’s essentially been our only hope for the last 12 months or so.

As per Shankly

"“If you’re in the penalty area and aren’t quite sure what to do with the ball, stick it in the net and we’ll discuss your options afterwards!"

21 year old lad last year playing in front of our support and he missed some sitters.....err mate a couple of years before we had no cunt in the box to miss the fucking sitters!

The things that do boil my piss at times are the off sides and not looking up for options when in a bad position but not going to blame him for not scoring every shot.

"he misses too many easy chances"

It's an accurate sentence I suppose.  Top strikers never miss easy chances.

Upon reflection, it's a stupid point that means fuck all.  All strikers miss sitters ffs.  All strikers go through cold spells too.

Morelos is a very high level striker who is only 21 and seem to be loving it here.    Long may it continue.

Those two cunts in those vids are older than 22, they should know better and start becoming better players missing sitters like that, should be ashamed of themselves!
