Dont know anything about the boy Mebude but it seems he has a lot of folk raving about him.

Rangers fans rave as teen hits treble for reserves

The 17-year-old sensation scored a treble for the second string against Motherwell this afternoon.

Rangers appear to have another top prospect on their hands as fans rave about Dapo Mebude after his performance for the reserves against Motherwell.

A half-time substitute, replacing first team loanee Umar Sadiq , Mebude produced his best and netted a hat trick as he fired his side to a 6-2 win over the Fir Park club.

The Scotland U17s striker knows where the goal and is tipped for the top, with Ibrox midfielder and fellow academy graduate Ross McCrorie suggesting he would be the next to break into the top team in the past.

The London-born striker has remained a little under the radar after coming through the youth teams alongside starlets including Billy Gilmour.

But since the midfielder left and joined Chelsea, the spotlight has shone on Mebude and he's thrived under the pressure.

His treble has Rangers fans suggesting he must be banging on the first team door.

Wouldn't play him wed night, we should be trying to build momentum with the first team the now, i want as strong a team as possible to smash ayr into next week to keep our team going, playing a second string against ayr and bumbling our way to a one or two goal win slows our momentum

I thought we'd entered into partnership with boclair for our youngsters?

We only went into partnership with Boclair in the last year or so, prior to that Rangers kids were at various SFA Performance schools (some still are), the Glasgow based ones being at Holyrood.
