BlueSkys 0
Having just read all the latest news it would appear that the club are now in a REAL crisis, even if only half of the stories circulating are true. This is fast becoming the blackest hour of the clubs history and I?m old enough to remember the Seventies and Eighties. Never before have I seen so much discord amongst the team / management / supporters. The green and grey side of Glasgow must be pi**ing themselves laughing. Murray (who I have always backed and probably always will) really needs to come out with a proper statement of intent on the direction of the club.Baz and PLG need to reconcile their differences and fast. The argument is not whether Baz is our best current player or not. He is the CLUB captain and both the manager and captain need to work together for the good of the club instead of acting like pantomime queens. This is the mighty Rangers we are talking about here not some also ran team. Some of the teams in the 70?s 80?s were poor but at least they fought for every ball, fought for each other. The current squad could not fight their way out of a paper bag.We are not big spenders anymore. No problem there we have to work within the Scottish League and that dictates our spending power so I?m not expecting any great influx of quality players BUT come on Rangers clear out the dross and sign players that will give 100% in EVERY game or give the kids a chance after all the league is gone this year.Sorry but it is a sad time to be a Rangers supporter. BlueSkys 0
Posted the above earlier and still believe it?s true. Doing the dirty washing in public as if we were Hearts <angryy> But from listening to the game and the comments from PLG and BFs agent there are going to be no winners in this including the support.DM will come out with a statement and back PLG for 3 reasons.1) No player is bigger than the club.2) By undermining PLGs authority (as PLG has stated) BF has tried to put himself above the manager. Even if Murray sacks PLG no other respectable manager would take the job if the club captain / players are allowed to undermine his authority or are perceived to do so. 3) DM runs several successful businesses besides Rangers and he will always back a manager in this type of situation. Anyone here who runs a medium / large size business will agree. BFs only way back from the abyss will be a huge climb down and a heartfelt apology to PLG in front of the whole squad. It actually doesn?t matter now whether BF is right or wrong. Hope he manages to put what?s best for Rangers above his own personal feelings about PLG. Feel for the guy, he does care about the club, does give 100% (even when he?s not fit) hurts like the rest of us when things go wrong. But I think that he has played his last game for Rangers.
