If a Rangers player I rated was out on loan getting great experience said they wanted to stay longer / permanently or Rangers wasn't their team any more then I'd be annoyed. No they aren't - AFAIK the majority of posts I have read on here have people saying we should be playing Katic instead as he's our own player and showed at the start of the season he is a talent. We just aren't offended by a loan player saying he wants to go back to his parent club the following season... No, if I was a loan player contracted to my parent club until 2020, I'd definitely be professing my undying love for my loan club who only have me contracted until 2019.
