Guest orangpendek
i wonder if some posters know what a transfer market is.....player a, let's call him 'stevie', is on a long term contract but a bigger club wants to buy him. the selling club, oh i dunno, let's imagine a team called 'kilmarnock fc' can hold out for the max amount they can getplayer b, tho, shall we say 'libor,' has hardly played a first team game for 16 months. he has been unable to play for a massively underachieveing team in a poor standard league. in order to get a game of football anywhere, he is willing to move to a club from one of the few leagues with a poorer standard than the spl. said club, however, while willing to take a chance on our forgotten hero, are unwilling to throw a 6 figure sum at him. the selling club, call it 'rangers fc' are keen to offload their misfit from the wage bill and therefore do not care about any transfer fee. in the words of the mighty errol brown, 'everyone's a winner, baby, that's no lie!'he also said'yesterday, i was one of the lonely people, now you're lying next to me, giving it to me'indictating an interesting take on the sub/top relationship.
