crmpicco 72
Carrying on with my VHS to DVD conversions the next one I’ve uploaded to YouTube is the 1999 Tennent’s Scottish Cup Final between us and celtic. It rounded off a splendid treble and a clean sweep in Dick Advocaat’s first season in charge. The game finished 1-0 with a goal from wee Rod Wallace doing the job. I remember a bit of whinging about a potential penalty for celtic when a ball struck Amo’s arm but replays show it hit his chest. I don’t remember Amato in this game, also was this Ian Ferguson’s last game for us? I assume Bazza must have been out injured for Derek McInnes to feature. Rangers: GK 1 Stefan Klos DF 2 Sergio Porrini 77' DF 3 Lorenzo Amoruso (c) DF 4 Colin Hendry DF 5 Tony Vidmar MF 6 Neil McCann 67' MF 7 Derek McInnes MF 8 Giovanni Van Bronckhorst MF 11 Jörg Albertz FW 9 Rod Wallace FW 10 Gabriel Amato 89' Substitutes: DF 16 Scott Wilson 89' MF 17 Ian Ferguson 67' MF 18 Andrei Kanchelskis 77' Manager: Dick Advocaat Gman36

Redwhiteandblue 3,330
Madness to think that full stadium cost not much more than Juventus paid for their keeper.

Paulbrian11 432
We didn’t actually play very well in this game, thankfully neither did the taigs and 1-0 was enough.
jcb 1,167
Apart from the goal what i remember most is Hugh Dallas correctly refusing them a penalty in the last couple of minutes, This just a few weeks after being left bloodied after being struck by a coin thrown from the celtic end at Parkhead siddiqi_drinker
