Up at Pittodrie & last night very noticeable that we’ve moved to a 4-3-2, sacrificing wide players to stay compact in midfield.

Clearly stems from Michael Beale who wrote in depth about it before

Saw that earlier on link from Twitter...Good read.

Just tells me how little I know about tactics etc!!!

We looked well drilled/prepared at playing with 10 both in that Aberdeen game and on Thursday night

I thought initially that leaving Flanagan exposed was suicide when they were already targeting him in the first half but he defended well second half and Arfield put in a hell of a shift to help him out

That’s a great read, had to read it twice to take it all in mind you.

I would’ve went 4-4-1 in the second half more to protect Tav and Flanagan, but reading that you can see exactly what we were trying to do.

I think Micheal has a lot of say on how we play and Im bloody glad Stevie brought him in.

10 MEN, WE ONLY NEED 10 MEN!

I thought we were brilliant. With 10 men we were even better. Still created numerous chances and they created nothing.

After playing with 10 men on Thursday as well, to follow up with this today was simply heroic.

Today is a HUGE day.

Better than with 11?

No.

However Ejaria seems better when we have 10.

With 11 I feel he is too loose in play and trying to be fancy going forward

With 10 it is like he is told "defend like fuck" and he just does that.
