I wonder what the future holds for him tbh. He's no been involved much since he got himself sent off.

Midfield is a area we will be looking to improve on in January if not then definitely the summer.

Is he gonna be another one that just disappears like so many before him or is he the real deal?

Would definitely be trying to get him out on loan in January.

Thought he would be a star for us this season but hasn't happened. Would personally have him ahead of Sid in the pecking order but that's not happening so a loan move would suit everyone.

I would have thought he would have performed well in the current squad with better players around him than last season. He obviously isn't doing enough at training to convince Gerrard to give him a starting berth. Would still like to see him get another chance, then see if he takes it.

He needs to find his best position and make himself undroppable from playing in it.

I'm not sure anyone knows what that position is yet let alone make it his own.

He was the only bright point on last season but were things that bad anyone that gave everything in every game we'd be raving about? Was last season his level? If everyone is fit he doesn't get in the team

The fact he is involved in the squad and featuring off the bench suggests to me he is working hard in training and pushing for a spot.

He was ok in the midfield last season imo, but only ok and his passing and decision making was very poor at times. His grit and determination to win the ball back was his best assets. In his defence though he is still very much learning the role after finding out he was never going to cut it at centre-half.

He is learning from the right people and if he takes it on board and shows he can improve then I see no reason why he can't feature more often as we progress. As someone else said, it might be best loaning him out to get him games, that's half a season of proper coaching so he can maybe go out and show what he can do now then come back in the summer and kick on.

I don't think so

When he was sitting in the diamond he was excellent. Game at Pittodrie at the end of the season he took that by the scruff of the neck and dragged us back into the game.

He’s still young and has been involved in plenty of match day squads.

I think his development is going fine. Good squad player and I’m sure he’ll feature more next year.

No disrespect but if he plays more next year we ain't improved the midfielder liked I'd hoped we would.

The Aberdeen double header and Hibs away as well in the diamond he was superb

Last 6months he was a joke mate

He was right off form and carrying a bit extra timber the last 6 months tbf, but you did say last season, he was excellent at times last season and a definite bright spot.

If we are being selective we can look at Ross' performance at centre-back against the beggars, can't get much further away from a bright spot.
