Rapid to sit away fans with home end tickets in own section

Just reading one of the tabloids and they expect 10k fans to be in Vienna and only 2k official away tickets sold. They have made a section in the home end beside the aways fans for any away fan that has a home end ticket.

That is pretty good of the club, and hopefully all the folk there will do the our club proud with this generous offer.

I get the feeling Rapid have a lot of respect  for our club and our fans

I seriously hope we don't do anything to change this

The club might have a lot of respect for us. Let’s see how much respect the Police and the Rapid fans have for us tho.

Fair play to them.

Seems like it's only in Scotland we are treated with utter disdain but other clubs across the globe actually respect us.

That's because unlike the scum who infest our home city we don't go around looking to start fights. The Austrians got a good reception at Ibrox and I think it will be reciprocated.

Now if only the team can perform like they did that last game I'll be over the proverbial moon.

They’ve hired a priest ahead of the game. Fuck em.

It is a traditionally Roman Catholic country but it's not the same type of poisonous anti Protestant Catholicism that we experience in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

It's likely more to do with avoiding any potential trouble by having fans unsegregated than anything to with us being 'respected'. Any trouble (particularly any from away fans in the home end) lands Vienna in bother with UEFA.

That’s a fair point but in general we seem to get a lot more respect from other clubs abroad or down south than we do here in republican Scotland.
