Popular Post jackrfc95 4,255
https://Rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/ryan-jack-signs-new-deal/ Quote Rangers are delighted to confirm that Ryan Jack has signed a contract at the Light Blues. The Scotland midfielder has extended his stay with the Light Blues until 2021, having initially put pen to paper on a three-year deal when he moved to Rangers from Aberdeen in June 2017. 26-year-old Jack has made over 40 appearances since then and he has been a key player in the middle of the park for Steven Gerrard’s side this season, featuring in 24 games. Prior to becoming Pedro Caixinha’s second signing for the club in the summer of 2017, the lifelong Gers fan had made 250 appearances for Aberdeen having come through their youth system and he made his first-team debut in a League Cup clash against Raith Rovers in September 2010. He was also named as the club’s captain at the age of just 23 following Russell Anderson’s retirement at the start of the 2015/16 campaign. Now an influential player on and off the park for Rangers, Jack is thrilled to have signed a new contract. Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “I’m over the moon. When I found out the club was wanting to extend my contract it was a no-brainer. “I’m delighted to do so and I’m looking forward to what’s to come for the rest of the season.” BlueKnight87, Howsitgoing, gmcf and 12 others

Bristol loyal 6,248
Pleased with this, without doubt our best defensive midfielder, just wish we had two more attack minded players playing in the three with him.
NixonRFC 1,553
I'm a bit unfazed by this one, he's been a major step up from what we had become used to in the five years before his signing but while he's did alright I don't see him as a genuine big game match winner for us, not yet anyway, looking at their midfielders, I'm no sure there is one of their regular starters that he's ahead of, as a squad player I'd be fine with him but I think we need to be looking at vast improvements in that area of the pitch. Smile 26,624
Good player but still think for this league we need some fucking giants in the middle like the ones on Game of Thrones would do especially against the Motherwell and Hibs. It’s not really his role in our team to be a ‘match winner’. His job is to protect defence and recycle possession. Think if you’re good enough to play for Rangers, you need to have that bit of spark that means you could be a match winner when the chips are down.
