Gerrard Post Match Reaction

Grabbing at straws, how many times do we fuck up in the dying minutes, this lot are not capable of defending a lead.

Play like that against the scum and it’s his head on the block.

All we ask now is a win at home against them, it’s not too much to ask.

Meh

clearly no one listens to him in that dressing room.

Seems like every game he apparently reads the riot act to the players at half / full time. Doesn't make a blind bit of difference, I think a few of them were probably in awe of his celebrity status when he first joined, now thats worn off they've reverted back to the spineless don't-give-a-fuck wasters of the past few years.

January is a huge month for him. He’s had half a season to look at the team mould and see what’s required. If he’s no able to improve on what we have, we will continue to stand still as a club in domestic football.

December is and was the huge month.

He will not be getting near transfer budgets, he hasn't a clue how to mould a team. Expect another couple of half hearted loanees.

Board will be wary of letting him spend any cash in Jan , the players who perform best for him were brought in by others.

I want him not to have to roll out the same turgid patter.

Get the team winning games and that stops, he doesn’t seem to be able to mater that though.

He's making mistakes, it was always expected.

But he's had less money to spend than the scum, he's been able to sign players with potential but who haven't done it all before, spend less on salaries than the scum, play more games than expected, seen most of his top players injured or suspended at some point. And over and above all that he's had one window to turn around a squad of absolute losers, primarily with loanees, but some still expect us to win the league regardless or get him to fuck.

He needs funds, he needs those not contributing moved on, he needs to get more winners in of better quality, but it all takes time some have already said he's had enough of already. I've no doubt he's sick of saying the same stuff to the same losers, but only time and money can allow us to get shot and improve on them.

Under no illusion that this was going to be tough first season for us. This team puts in a lot of effort but as we can see there is not enough quality there. Gerrard needs a couple of years I think because we can’t keep firing coaches and then we’re back to where we started. I don’t like it the same as everybody when we fuck up games like this as it hurts. The board need to back him in January to keep pressure on smellik. We have a rookie manager, some young loan players and we’re still in the hunt. Let’s see what Saturday brings.
