Popular Post Prso's headband 35,343
Not one to make threads on individual players but honestly for me he hasn’t shown anything remotely close to the level he’s been playing at or produced before. At least Defoe actually has shown what he’s done his whole career in the 3 games, Davis just hasn’t cut it and honestly doesn’t deserve to start on what I’ve seen. Not one to write players off so early either but am just not seeing it. Glad it’s a loan deal graeme_4, Supersonic, Clemdog and 10 others
A.T.G 10,773
He’s a lot older of course. I don’t think we can expect much else. Hoping to be wrong BlueAvenger
TopCat 4,511
I've been disappointed by his contribution thus far mate...... but it's early days. IMO He's a class player that has a lot to offer the squad.
dee9 3,972
It's still very early days. He was poor today but the game time will have done him the world of good. I'm still confident over the season he will prove to be a very smart signing.
TMB 14,167
I thought he would bring a lot more creativity to the centre of the pitch. He’s offered fuck all so far. BlueAvenger

born a blue nose 90,717
33 is not old in fitbaw if you've looked after yourself. He will be instrumental in our push. Take davie weir or Totti as examples. Playing at the absolute highest level. The latter playing in the hardest position on the park. Davis will be a great addition, no matter how your allegiance lies ie the rat situation. plumbGER, hammer93 and Sonnybear1972
bluenoz 30,681
I've slated his performances since he arrived. But today even though he continued to lose possession, I thought his positional sense suggested he might be getting better. Arfield and Jack are better players however. He shouldn't start on Wednesday. eejay the dj and BlueAvenger
SeparateEntityMyArse 53,613
Midfield were average to poor today, Kent apart. Thought their midfield dominated in large spells. Early days, but he's got a fair bit to do to convince me.
Valance1690 3,821
Think him and Defoe have struggled to get up to speed so far but Defoe has the big name behind him and the goals he's got (albeit a penalty/tap in) means he'll get more time to get up to fitness before the critsicim comes Davis being not match sharp shows up more in the centre mid, he slows the game down & gives it away alot more than I remember him doing in the past Would be playing him as a sub for a while, we've got 3 players in Arfield, Jack & McCrorie who deserve to start infront of him slimjim1690

With Ross McCrorrie playing the holding role Ryan Jack and Arfield have looked a lot more creative, I've been very impressed with Jack recently in a more forward role and playing some lovely defence splitting passes, Davis will have a role to play and against the likes of St Mirren etc we can afford to use these games in an attempt to get him match fit but right now if we play 4-3-3 then it has to be McCrorrie, Jack and Arfield as 1st picks in the bigger games. bluenoz and Negri's lovechild

Vanoli 4,625
Worried about him. Doesn’t protect the ball under pressure the way he used too, like a ghost out of possession. Cannot be anywhere near the team on Wednesday. HG5

bluenoz 30,681
I like a player who doesn't lose possession in midfield ( Jack ). Davis has been very poor at this since he arrived.

STRUTH82 807
I really hope he turns it around, but at this point a 6 month loan looks to have been a good choice, otherwise we maybe in a panic.
