Lothianbear 361
let’s be honest we are winning no cup, we are no better than we were under our last three managers, were fighting it out for second place yet again , with the budget we have we should be performing at a much higher standard, yes Europe was a success to a degree but even there we dropped points when the game was there for the winning Terry Hurlock Loyal, Zappa6995, HG5 and 1 other
2nd Flute 14,036
The inconsistency will see us win no cup, we'll probably gub the tarriers at Parkhead, when the titles already gone, then lose to shite in the cup, fuckin hard going. The Godfather 71,734
We are still a team with no backbone or bottle. We won against the taigs but can’t beat St Johnston....Too many avaerage players in the starting 11 Zappa6995 and HG5
Blackandra 732
Our biggest problem seems to be that we're a one man team and that one man cant be relied upon to play every game because of his discipline.
docspiderman 1,225
Today showed we will win nothing with this squad, a chance to close the gap even for a day, chance to increase the gap over third place, a chance to put on a display at home and not one player looked interested from the start. There was no tempo or urgency and most worryingly our manager did not seem too bothered or animated until after the game. The little general and Walter would have been on the touch line letting the players know what they were doing is not acceptable.
Blue Avenger 22,567
On our game we can match anybody, but the consistency isn't there as the quality of player is still not good enough.

loyalfollower 1,543
No chance of us lifting anything. 3 trebles on a trot is a stick on for that lot, we just don’t have a single player capable of winning at all costs. We may get past killie but the sheep will do us up there. The players are fragile wee fannies BlueAvenger

SeparateEntityMyArse 53,622
We're capable of beating the scum which means we're capable of winning the cup. We're inconsistent, and don't appear to have what it takes to do whatever is needed to beat a team, so imo were unlikely to win the cup. Should we be so reliant on one player anyway, is he not allowed to get injured, lose form? The novice manager failed to oroperly address the defence, we lack creativity and steel in the centre of the park despite having 192 mid field player's, we have two donkeys returning who should never have been signed and sign a striker whos a box poacher and play him like a target man. Weve spent a bit, but we needed to spend a lot, money has again been badly wasted, but hey ho, we have El Dave at the helm so everything is good. Team excepted. First placed losers, how very ambitious. HG5

TopCat 4,511
Can't see us winning the cup. We have to beat Kille first... tough job....... then up to Pittodrie to face the sheep, which is never easy and we are likely to face the mhanky mob in the final. It's a big ask to say the least. Bydo 3,211
I’m not confident we will beat Kilmarnock. I’m also not confident we would beat Aberdeen. So... naw. I’m not confident.

gj923 1,457
Possibly having a tough draw will actually help us and there is a chance of an easy semi final with a first division team guaranteed a place.....horsing Utd would be fun to get to the final. Reformation Bear 6,453
When was the last time we won the Scottish Cup? 2008/9? That's a very long time for the Scottish Cup to have been away from Ibrox. Almost a distant memory. Shocking isn't it (even despite the years we had to endure in lower divisions). Does the current squad have a cup-tie will to win ….must win.....game attitude? Or are they more like a side where on the day you just don't know what you are going to get and even the Manager does not know what he's going to get despite all the pre-match training and game plan stuff. It's the latter isn't it. Its not as if they convince themselves that whoever it is they are playing there is an absolute need to win the battle and get the job done. Its more like they are worried about failure and so afraid to believe in their own abilities, unwilling to take responsibility and so afraid to have a real go...……...and unable to handle the pressure. Unable to properly honour the Rangers shirt. Are they really a cup-warrior side? Or is their game so one dimensional that converting it into a fearsome cup-fighting cup-winning side is beyond them. Sleeves rolled up on Weds and a 'get stuck into them' tempo and determination, or ............tons of sideways passing, cautious intricate but ineffective movement leading nowehere and being taken on a sucker punch breakaway or on penalties? We'll see on Weds.
left winger 14,125
Four games - Kilmarnock, Aberdeen, almost definitely celtic and one other. While the matches are obviously not close together I just can’t see us winning them all.
Burts91 427
The squad don't seem to have a winning mentality. To overcome this unfortunately you have to win things. The celtic team are full of players with a winning mentality now (domestically) due to the dominance over the last so many years. As much as it pains me to say it, this season being Gerrards first I don't think it was realistic to expect us to win the league. Hopeful ofcourse but if we can get 15-20m for Morelos in the summer and then the 8-10m for Tavernier, which will make me sad losing the two players, it may be better for us in the long run. Try to re-invest. Hopefully by next season players like Katic, Barisic and others we have signed this year will be able to step up a bit more. But 8 points isn't an insurmountable gap either. It's only 3 games worth, football is a funny old game where an 8 point lead can diminish in no time. celtic are on a good run at the moment where as we really aren't. But who's to say over the next month this doesn't change. All we can do as fans is back the team to the best of our ability and see where it takes us come May. Starting Wednesday night trying to get behind the players (despite many not believing they deserve it). Removing Gerrard and starting again the way we have for the last 5/6 seasons is not the way to go as we are perilously close to doing this every season and handing them title after title. Bearsden bear 2,376
Unfortunately I can't see us winning anything now. We still need better quality and the gaffer needs time and money to deliver on that. Pointless changing manager, there's not a manager alive or dead that can win the league with our budget imo.
