Popular Post SeparateEntityMyArse 55,396
It's a bit meh on the compliance stuff, a bit more detailed on the BBC behaviour. Glad he's done the video, not sure why he has tbh, would rather we came out hard hitting, fighting and highlighting all bias against us, than having formal and informal discussions. Interesting watch, but still more questions than answers for me, particularly re compliance role and that system. Think it could’ve been a little more robust in that regard but he does highlight some good instances, talks about trial by sportscene, Morelos being villiefied for 3 weeks and nothing else being highlighted in that game and a few other points. Was good to see this instead of a nothing statement. Bears, True Hair Bear, SeparateEntityMyArse and 6 others

Supersonic 4,664
Not a fan of his by any means, but decent interview actually. Feel like it should've came out a bit earlier in the season but at least it's being said now. Rightly slams the compliance officer for re-refereeing the games and her re-interpretation of the rules. Mentions the trial by sportscene that's been happening with us. The BBC have confirmed to us recently they want to come to Ibrox to cover the games but they do not want to interview our managers or players. "Now, if they're treating us differently in that respect, are there other areas where they're treating Rangers differently, you know, in terms of the incidents which we're seeing be highlighted at the weekend? You only have to look at the Morelos incident after the old firm game. Where they (bbc) seem to spend an inordinate amount of time examining Alfredo's actions but no time at all on any other actions from that game. Morelos was then effectively vilified for 3 weeks on various BBC platforms." He wants VAR brought in, but I really don't see much difference given the cunts that will be watching the incidents. He was asked if there's any sign of BBC returning to Ibrox?: "No. They've chosen not to attend, they choose not to come to the games, they choose not to interview our players, they choose not to interview our manager." "Every time we get into discussions with them something happens. I think we're the only organisation that I'm aware of, that's had two public apologies from BBC Scotland in the last 12 months." Says the BBC has confirmed in writing they are treating Rangers differently to every other club at the end. Scum cunts. Nameless Ghoul 6,158
It is getting ridiculous. Every game we are in we seem to appeal something and for what? Popular Post StaunchLondonGer 1,651
To be fair to him, taking that interview in isolation, he quite clearly (albeit diplomatically and dispassionately) makes the point that BBC Scotland are tim-infested biased cunts with an agenda against Rangers. Popular Post Moody Blue 10,036
If the BBC do not want to engage with us, confirm they are treating us differently then we should commence action against them through the league ie they should prohibit showing any highlights of our games. I’d imagine that’s a non-starter but it wouldn’t half stop the trial by sportscene CharlieT, magic8ball, Blumhoilann and 3 others

Popular Post Reformation Bear 6,453
I think a conclusion he is making, and the Club is making, is that Rangers is on the receiving end of openly acknowledged discrimination from the BBC which in turn is leading to further consequential discrimination against Rangers players via the 'trial by Sportscene' actions of the Compliance Officer who (wittingly or otherwise) is being unduly influenced by BBC Sportscene. He is also admitting that 2 inch thick file of correspondence and notes of meetings etc accumulated in recent times has resulted in the square root of zero improvement in relations with the BBC Scotland or modification of BBC Scotland's behaviours to stop discriminating against Rangers. Perhaps he and the Club should stop talking to BBC Scotland and take the issues to the BBC in London and also to demand urgent action from those who govern the BBC? Dealing with the BBC organ grinders may produce better outcomes than dealing with BBC Scotland who perform without fear of correction or retribution to their own discriminatory tune. Escalate. Escalate to the highest levels of the BBC and those who govern the BBC. Repeat the charges publicly and loudly and persistently at the highest levels in Government. Take every opportunity in front of whatever other media camera and microphone to make the point that the BBC openly and wilfully discriminates. Name and shame the names in BBC Scotland who are at the heart of this. In other words escalate and persist until a just outcome is achieved. Just doing a one-off interview on RTV may seek to give the impression that something is being done. But having raised the points in the way they have been raised it seems to me that its become table-thumping escalation time and not taking no or being fobbed off for an answer. Is he suggesting / inferring the Club is up for that sort of militancy? Or is he just raising a linesman's flag and running up and down the touchline in a sort of futile protest while the BBC just note and ignore? We'll see but I ain't holding my breath. Popular Post BridgeIsBlue 66,818
7 months since Morelos was sent off at Pittodrie for nothing. 4 months since Candeias was sent off for blowing kisses. 2 months since the game against them and the ever growing witch hunt against one of our players. Two weeks since two of our players were reprimanded for incidents while others got away with worse. Overall, it's a bit fucking late coming out with this now isn't it? They tarrier bastards upped the ante and put significant pressure on officials after we beat them and look at what's happened since, their players can get away with blue murder week in week out whilst ours get cited repeatedly. Who honestly gives a fuck if the club get charged for bringing the game into disrepute? Scottish football is run for the benefit of one club, what else needs to happen for people to realise it? It's one set of rules for us another for the rest. Paranoid Protestants. broomloanjamie, Smile, Bad Robot and 12 others
