Arfield to Southampton.

It's the time of year when agents tout around fake news to encourage  a possible pay rise/transfer fee for players which will generate them a nice percentage.

Fake transfer news also keeps newspapers in business too.

To be fair I can understand other clubs now showing an interest now that he is performing well, but expect he is here for the long run.

But £3 million ?   Given his recent form I think that the value, especially to any Premier League club would be minimum £5 million.

Don't know how else to write this. Even tried using google translate but they had no language option for mongo.

You are basically justifying him being good because he is better than midfielders in the fucking Scottish league. Im saying thats no a good enough method to measure a player for Rangers.

The guy played in the EPL... an EPL club wanted to give him a new contract. Im pretty sure thats a good way to measure this particular player.

He would probably cost £6m+ to replace like for like....  Plus he's Scottish so gets all the shite that comes with playing for Rangers. Now he has a year under his belt and could push us on next season.  Nah, no thanks.

Why? If we are to challenge for the league Arfield is pivotal to that. Why remove a massive piece of the jigsaw for anything less than silly money? Madness that folk would accept less than 5 million for him, absolutely madness.

I wouldn't sell him anyway. I just wouldn't expect anyone to pay more than 3/4 million for him if he was for sale.

Its no fucking rocket science. Im saying if we compare players against SPL standard then were no setting a very high bar. By that logic were saying "oh he's better than Stevie Mallan at Hibs so he is good enough".

Were you dribbling when typing this out?

Don’t want to sell him, think he’s really important to us and one of the few quality players we have. However, he will be 31 soon, we’re probably not in a position where we could turn down £4milllion or more for someone that age.

Id much rather sell Morelos for more and get better players around Arfield, but money talks.

He's quite similar to armstrong who they bought for 7 mil. Arfield is tried and tested in England though couple years older so think if where any interest that wold be the ballpark figure.

Would I take it? couple of weeks ago aye, now not sure as he seems to have found his best position, coincidentally with Morelos being out.

3 million.lol fuck off

Scot Arfield is at his peak, his prime, right now

A buying team is not buying potential here or a young player with promise. Scot will be at his max value right now.EPl and European experience and an international captain.

No wonder we get shite cash for players when even our own are under selling them
