Bit embarrassing to be celebrating something we did in what 2003?

However, I didn’t actually realise this would be their 50th title, it’s getting a bit worrying how close they are now but still confident normal service will resume in the next few years.

Shameful it’s been allowed to happen.

Exactly we did it in 2003 and it’s 2019 and we’ve only added 4.

Fucking depressing

Yes but look at what they and their cabal had to do to us so they could begin to get close to us.

We need to win the title next season and win a few on the spin or it's going to become an issue.

Tbf Murray had a bigger hand in it than liewell & the SFA.

Onwards and upwards. We will still be the first to 60 and that’s what matters. Forever in our shadow.

True but I don't remember us going after them in the same way when they ran their'business' using a biscuit tin and very dodgy finances where they comparably made a  footballing profit for many more years than we did, and they were breaking tax laws repeatedly whereas we were using a loophole.

The ebts were the icing on the cake. Murray spending the banks money like posh spice on coke while protecting himself was the real issue.

You are correct about the manner in which the rest of Scottish football reacted. HMRC has a lot to answer for also. But the same shite has happened to big clubs throughout Europe’s top leagues so we could hardly be surprised at the time.

As I said that’s in the past and it will crush them when we get to 60 titles first.

Think there a number of important factors in relation to this, firstly a large section of their following pro actively go out of their way to look for any reason to have a go at Rangers, their ‘hatred’ (don’t use this term loosely) is ingrained in to their psyche to the point of being unhealthy. Secondly, there is far more information/ knowledge and comment opportunity available via social media that was unavailable at the time of their tax ‘evasion’. Thirdly and probably more importantly the vast majority of our support have no love of anything celtic but they are decent working people who love their own team more than constantly obsessing and raking over the dealings of another...

Spot on. If we ever get a chance to put the boot in now we will not hold back. Club like no other for sure.

What happened to us was manufactured after Murray was naive and put us in a position where Lloyds could turn the screw and HMRC could go after us as a supposed test case, leaving the supposed football authorities in this land to screw us over, trying to destroy us before trying to take titles from us after they failed.

Yes, we are coming, 55 is coming, and they are so obsessed that they need the media, compliance officer and sometimes match officials (are we really the dirtiest team?!) to hold us back.

Hearts are by far and away the dirtiest team. Seems like they are every single year
