Gerrard has said Rudden will be involved pre season, and they'll assess how much he's developed away on loan to determine longer term plans.

The boy's done well, 11 goals in 30 appearances for a bottom of the league club wont have been easy. Hence the awards.

Imo we need 3 top notch strikers plus promotion of the best youth as 4th choice. That could well be Rudden.

plus unlike the lads playing in the youth setup he has had >25 games up against the hammer-throwers from the Championship -- that's an experience you'll never get playing youth or even reserve football these days.  Hopefully, he'll get a chance with the 1st team squad in pre-season.
