First half we were different class but just not kept at it

Ref doesn't know the new rules. First he allowed the keeper to bounce along the line when Tav was taking the penalty and now he's stopped us taking the quick free kick because he wants to give the Progres player a second yellow.

The way to deal decisively with the 2nd leg of a tie like this against this type of opposition is a minimum of 3 goal lead.    Anything less creates far more tension than it should for the 2nd leg.    At home, at Ibrox, with a big point to prove a 2 nil lead is imo simply not good enough no matter what excuses Gerrard rolls out after the game.

To be fair I don't think Gerrard does excuses. I expect he will be unhappy at 2.
